Just found out about the Banana Fish AI dub situation

Its taken down now thank goodness but this is fucking scary

Won't go into any more detail on my feelings except for a few key points

Amazon can go fuck itself

Fuck Generative AI

Give us a real dub with actual paid voice actors

Get your bullshit out of the dubbing industry

Even a dub made by a group of drunk highschoolers would be better than this slop

The announcement of a new ACNH update with everything I could ever want has given me back my will to live.

I had a dream last night that they made a Wings of Fire TV show and its was perfect for the first couple of minutes, but then they found a way to enter the human world and then it became like the live action Smurf movies with dumbass human stuff and the dragon animation became uglier and uglier and I hated it

Oh and there was a part of the dream where a new Shadow short was being revealed in the live action movie universe but he was a valley girl for some reason? Like had blonde highlights instead of the red with pink eyeliner?? And he talked weird but still sounded like Keanu Reeves. Dunno wtf I did to subject my unconscious mind with such horrible things but it was funny when I woke up at least?

Even though I made a few mistakes in my rush to get this done before the Open the Floodgates event, I hope these show how cool I think the original sprites are! Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ripple Effect AU

This is a seven season plan for Rise. Sneak peaks include the missing sisters, Dimension X, Null Time, the Ultimate Ninja, Renet, Dr. Jasper Barlow, the Fugitoid, Utrom, Triceratons, lots of new characters, and of course, a close examination of the Hamato Clan and what they mean to each other, whether that be through the pain and joy, the loss and gain, the experience of the past and the fear of the future, and how every action has consequences for the next.

It is in the planning stages still (even after a year and a half in the making oof) so I have no idea what will come of it. Will I finally go back to writing fanfiction after six years? Will I finally get over my phobia of drawing? Who knows!

I want to be able to have fun with this project, low stress. I've spent so much time experiencing everyone else's contributions I want to give back a little, even if my stuff is bad. I will have ref sheets soon, courtesy of @zeedia-will! I really hope you guys will enjoy what I have made, but I will say first and foremost, this is for me, and a way to express my love for the show and its community. Here's to more info soon!

I do wanna give a huge shout out to my mooties and the folks I follow. Yall have inspired me to make this. And I wanna thank @zeedia-will specifically. They have been a huge support through making this, heard me ramble on for hours, helped with character and plot decisions, and of course, is doing the character designs for some of my characters. Most importantly, they have cheered me on through the entire process, and gave me the confidence to even start in the first place. It is the two year anniversary of me finishing Rise of the TMNT

It has been an insane two years, with the obsession coinciding with the start of college, nosediving into another bout of severe depression, start of a new job, hoarding of figures, hardships, new friendships, life changes....
