Went to check if my RTX 3050 can actually handle 1440p (yes, should have looked it up before purchasing the monitor, but I was excited), and someone made a similar question on Reddit and the answers are all some shape of:

NO. You are WASTING YOUR MONEY and MY TIME with that question. WHY DID YOU NOT BUY (GPU that costs an unreasonable amount in the US, you can only imagine in non-USD)? You would have SIGNIFICANT GAINS instead of this BEGINNER SIMPLETON GPU. You WON'T GET 200FPS on 1440p. Are you an IDIOT? This model SUCKS. Stay at your pathetic 1080p.

Gaming is NOT hard on pc hardware. Compared to things like running huge datasets or 3D modeling, gaming is a relatively minor load on modern CPUs/GPUs/etc.

Yes, you will get higher frames per second if you spend insane money on the latest and greatest. But there are massive diminishing returns. And unless your main screen is a 4k television with all of the features (which is expensive in itself), your eye will not notice the minor differences between one comparable GPU output to another.
