“i wouldn’t call his questioning ridiculous” ezra said, walking alongside ronnie to the little studio, “i mean, if a guy like me showed up to hang out with my daughter, i’d probably give him a grilling too.” he paused, raising an eyebrow as he thought about what he’d just said, “i mean, not that i’m planning on having a daughter, but, you know.” he added, glancing around the room before setting his own bag down and beginning to pull his own tools and supplies from it. “don’t we always?” he said, shooting her a smirk before shaking his head, “i don’t know, i think i’m going to have to improvise today.”
“a guy like you, huh?” she questioned, a small smile playing at her lips, glossed with her favorite cherry lip balm. “don’t worry. i didn’t tell him any of that stuff,” she didn’t have to specify. he definitely knew what she was implying. “besides, i think he actually really likes you. well, he’s warming up to you recently,” she giggled softly. she raised an eyebrow then. “you don’t want kids?” ronnie questioned, tilting her head a little as she collected all the equipment. “mhm. okay. thats alright. let’s improvise then,” she pursed her lips in thought. “how about you give me something to paint, and i’ll give you something,”
