Gl00p's base form didn't change much from his original design last year, but thanks to my jump from Ibispaint X to Clip Studio Paint and having access to a much more versatile range of brushes and pens, I was able to use an actual fire brush I downloaded onto the app to make the flames in his body a lot more natural and also use a lightning pen to make the circuit-like "veins" surrounding his iris look like electricity coursing through him. His horns also have dark purple stripes on them just because I thought it was fun :)

Other than that, I also wanted to make Gl00p's body an inverse of Dark Mind's particularly by making his flames burn on the outer parts of his body to make the area surrounding his eye resemble a pitch-black void, almost making him the dark moon to Dark Mind's blazing hot sun.

As for the Mirror Mage, I definitely gave him a MUCH needed glow-up. The old Mirror Mage design, looking back, looked like complete dogshit. I was clearly trying TOO hard to make this form look like a heroic variant of Dark Mind's humanoid outer shell at the expense of looking hastily slapped together and lacking any distinct features to call his own. That's why for this new design, I leaned closer towards a combination of that AND Dark Matter Blade (mostly Dark Matter Blade). The armor, meanwhile, is heavily based on Sauron's physical body from Lord of the Rings (as that was what Dark Mind's appearance was heavily influenced by). I also gave the Mirror Mage a large flowing head of deep purple hair that's inspired by the Dark Mind armor from Super Kirby Clash because it looks like hair if you view it that way.
