Trans Davey who panics the first time Jack comes to his house, because Jack just picked up a photograph of Davey as a kid, and is asking who this little girl is, so Davey blurts out:

"That's my s-sister!" (He hates to lie, but he's only known Jack a couple of weeks, and he's terrified)

"You've never mentioned a sister before."

"You never asked."

"What's her name? Why haven't I met her?"

"Her name is um--" He won't say his own deadname, so instead his favorite cousin's name comes to mind. "Sarah. Her name is Sarah. She's away at college."

Jack just nods. "I'll just have to meet her when she comes home for a visit. She looks so much like you. You sure ya ain't twins?"

Davey just laughs nervously and changes the subject before Jack can ask more questions he won't have answers for.
