This one's a bit less clear since I was just sketching while doing work a few months back lol.

But the left are more old designs for Dyrad and the right is an old design for Carn. I like the ghost and goopy vibes of this dyrad so I might re-use the look for something else. Girl in the middle isn't important.

Been practicing with some redesigns for Dyrad. Want to make her look more for like a fly instead of mushroom like.

Also might remove the mushroom aspect so I'll have to change her name too.

So far I've got 'Maggy' for Maggot, but I already have an oc with Mag as a draft name so that might get confusing in my notes.

Playing both of these at the same time to see which one sways my opinion first like two gentleman callers spouting poems over eachother trying to woo the same maiden.

Once again thinking about this comment I saw on YouTube months ago, and how well it explains part of my disappointment with the final.

After the rebellion failed, Gihun continued to play within the system and the rules of the Games right up until the end.

If he couldn’t interfere with the game from inside, than that's where JUNHO should've come in! If Junho had been written to get to the island sooner he could've helped Gihun break the system from the outside!

I understand the point of the ending, and a part of me does love how well Gihun's actor played the role, but I just don't think the ending fits with what this story was setting up to be about in the second season.

I love tragedies, but not when they come at the cost of the writing all for the sake of 'realism'. Just because it's tragic doesn't mean it fits the story or is the only realistic outcome.

The second season was more about fighting against the system and not doing it alone. The failed revolt shouldn't have been the end of it tbh. The message shouldn't be 'if you fail to revolt once there's no use trying again'.

I only don't agree with how they handled Minsu in this re-write, I actually really like how his arc rounded up in Canon.

And saddly no Inhun confrontation, but we got Hwan brothers instead so still cool.

My ever reliable Brain, removing the basic functions from my memory such as sleep and remembering to eat, so there's more room to stockpile and create 100 different endings and routes for Squid Game:

A bit risqué cause I wanted to have a swing at making pin-ups, and I landed on 'OK White Lily from CRK but she's whimsical and having fun'.

So now I've kind of got this drawing that doesn't make a lot of sense like why is my girl just naked on a swing, but I'm ngl I still love looking at it like she's so beautiful and she looks so happy.

BUT season 3 and 2 are swapped around.

Season 3 is the original timeline, and season 2 is the start of the new one.

In the original season 3 timeline, the frontman never joined the games. When he suddenly finds himself back to the time just before the start of the next games, he decides to do something different. To get involved himself, and see if he can change things into an outcome that feel more satisfying for him.
