Tras una dura batalla en la que las gatas han ido por delante durante todo el partido, los ultimos jams han sido de infarto debido a la dureza del juego de las chicas de Oporto. Finalmente la victoria ha sido para las gatas que han luchado con garras y colmillos. Muchisimas gracias a todos por venir y darlo todo en la grada durante tantos partidos. Despedimos la temporada a lo grande!!! En otoño MAS Y MEJOR. Os esperamos a todos!!!!

El sábado fue un día muy emotivo: estuvimos jugando contra las Destroyer Dolls (Roller Derby Cáceres) para despedir a Betty Aim Fire, que vuelve a EE. UU. Queremos dar la enhorabuena a Cáceres por ese partidazo y su victoria más que merecida (229-129) y felicitar a nuestras nuevas gatas Estherrible y Ginger Devil por su primer partido. También queremos agradecer su trabajo a todos los árbitros, NSOs y colaboradores. ¡Lo pasamos genial! Saturday was a very emotional day: we played against the Destroyer Dolls (Roller Derby Cáceres) to say goodbye to Betty Aim Fire, who is returning to the US.  We'd like to congratulate Cáceres for an amazing game and well-deserved victory (229-129) and our new players Estherrible and Ginger Devil on their first game.  Thank you also to all of the refs, NSOs and collaborators.  We had a blast!

¡ESTAMOS FEDERADAS!  La Federación de Patinaje de Madrid ya tiene modalidad de ROLLER DERBY. Estamos muy contentas y orgullosas de ver como el deporte crece y evoluciona día a día. ¡Ahora solo queda el reconocimiento a nivel nacional! ¡Feliz día Mundial del Roller Derby! GREAT NEWS!  We've just become members of the Madrid Skating Federation, which now includes the category of ROLLER DERBY. We're very happy and proud to see how the sport grows and evolves day by day. Ayer se terminó la visita de Bella Karloffa a Roller Derby Madrid.  Ha sido un honor para nosotras tenerla por aquí y hemos aprendido un montón. Es un gusto trabajar con gente con tanta experiencia, con tantas ganas de compartir lo que sabe y encima tan maja. ¡Muchísimas gracias Bella! Te queremos, ¡vuelve pronto! Yesterday marked the end of Bella Karloffa's visit to Roller Derby Madrid. It has been a great honor for us to have her here and we've learned a lot. It's great to work with people with so much experience who are so generous with their knowledge and so nice. Thank you so much, Bella! We love you , come back soon!

To finish off the weekend of our bout against Ghent's Cuberdonnas there will also be some ref clinics, specially designed for roller derby refs.  They will be taught by the bout's Head Ref: Bella Karloffa.  Bella has been a roller derby ref for four years. Her experience includes big championships such as two bouts with team USA, being Head Ref at the German championships. She also has the experience of being head ref for three years for the Hamburg Harbor Girls, and a history of more than 100 bouts in France, Spain, Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Belgium. Apart from being a ref she has been also a coach for fresh meat for two years for the Hamburg Harbor Girls, and she coaches HOSSA (men's roller derby team) and Team Germany's Men's Roller Derby. The ticket for the clinics includes the ticket for the bout and a priority seat right on the track if you wish. Spots are limited, so hurry!
