IMO, blurring the lines between “I’m defending them because they’re right” and “I’m defending them because you’re taking this too far” is step numero uno to cutting down the very existence of fair trial and democracy–even in places where saying that might seem a little dramatic.

Let's say I really wanted to reduce the number of children who die in car accidents. Car accidents are really bad, right? Nobody disagrees about that. And it would be much better for both the environment and the kids' health if they spent more time walking, or taking the bus. Perfectly reasonable. More cars off the road, safer roads, fewer kids getting hurt, healthier kids. A win-win!
Therefore, let's ban children from traveling by car and require all cars to have a scanner on the door that scans the government ID of everyone who gets in the car to make sure no kids are in there. After all, kids get hurt in car accidents all the time! We need to ban this right away!

Ykw I'm retracting (parts) of my earlier statements on GO3. I think i was just so happy to see two of my favourite actors working together on screen again that I let some things I'd usually be critical of slide.
The conclusion does contradict earlier 'morals of the story' from earlier seasons, crowley and aziraphale should not have been the 'important' ones because they never have been, the jesus plot was botched as hell as much as I loved the callback to the cards he should have been more influential, and the only soul/emotion I got from it looking back really was just from the actors and not the writing.
I stand by the fact that Tennant and Sheen (among others) did the best they could with a shit script, and I dont despise the final sequence, but how it reaches that point just isn't very good omens.

Tired of people complaining that the show should've had more lore focus on certain things or characters. It's a one season show, we KNEW it would be a once season show. Name me a single 1 season show of the same runtime with the level of depth you're demanding of TADC.
You never wanted a show, you wanted a lore dump and character sheets so you could play with them like dolls instead of actually engaging with the themes of the show.
