I see that some people think that the fans of the Harry Potter series have been paid, and just today I received a report on my edit with Ruari Spooner on tiktok, saying it is ✨sponsored by the brand✨
You attacked the wrong one, guys, I'm just a volunteer. If I got paid for it, I'd do a hundred times more
Because of this, I remembered that a couple of years ago I was in a fandom of a comic, that was written in my country, and its creators decided to make a film adaptation. The problem was that they didn't know how to run a PR at all and didn't do much to promote the film. And the fans went to the cinema to watch it several times, took their friends, parents, and children to boost the box office, shouted about the film from every corner, wrote about it in all the comments, endlessly made content, and in fact, did all the work for PR managers. And all this was FOR FREE. Because people wanted to support a potentially cool project that stood out from our fucked film industry
And, as tragic as it may sound, it didn't work. In particular, because, as it turned out later, the creators themselves were not interested in working on this universe, and all our efforts were wasted. But the fact remains: in any case, there will be fans who will fight for the project. If this surprises you, I don't know which forest you've lived in or why you've never seen a fandom before
