This is going to start fights BUT I spent a lot of time on this and I wanna know everyone's thoughts on it.
Here's my favorite life series ranked!!
Just how revolutionary of a season it was, changing the MCYT space forevermore
The alliances and how it basically boiled down to Dogwarts v. Everybody
The ending with the battles and the cactus ring oughhh
My bias of the desert duo getting my girlfriend and I together
Again, my own bias of watching this season on repeat during winter finals 2024 as a coping mechanism, and it being the first season I was truly invested in, even if it was a year after it had finished
The controversial ending I personally loved, since it switched things up so significantly
The invention of Skynet and resulting first 4K
The horror of the player being able to see their time of death
The best teams in the history of the series in my opinion
T.I.E.S and just how well they work together
The Clockers family dynamic that was also controversial but I ate that up
The Bad Boys were hilarious and to this day are my favorite Joel alliance and one of my top Grian alliances
The Mean Gills were a POWERHOUSE
Nosy Neighbors were an unexpected duo I really appreciated
The system was a little clunky, but good overallI. I really like the no regen and the secret keeper, it just complicates the rules beyond a simple explanation, plus the self-moderation gets a bit sticky at times

Scar’s Villain arc my GOD it's so good
The tasks made players do things they’d normally never do (namely warden v. wither and the boogeypocolypse)
The gimmick was basically forced alliances and tbh? One of if not my favorite twist/gimmick
SCARLET PEARLLLLLL!! She deserved that win SO MUCH
This is going to ruffle a few feathers, but I think so much more could have been done from other POVs. As someone who's watched almost every Double Life POV, just watching Pearl’s perspective is enough in terms of plot. (ranchers are adorable though, one of my favorite ships)
Boogeyman mechanic was introduced, making this season have overall some of the best betrayals of the whole series, plus the boogeyman is FOUNDATIONAL to the Life Series as a whole.
Random lives mechanic was really cool and a great twist on 3rd Life
I have nothing but praise for this season, it just didn’t stick out a ton to me
As the most recent season, players are getting GOOD. This means some crazy kills, alliances, and betrayals, but it also made the season just SLIGHTLY more stale, as a few of the most effective strategies have been nailed down (namely Skynet)
Octokill/Secret Society was SO COOL
Pitfalls made a very nice appearance (square hole and the cabincore stairs)
The ending was almost the same as Last Life and did not carry in my opinion, which gives it a lower ranking
The double win from Martyn was absolutely deserved but still left a lot to be desired
Hard to understand system, which I think might be some of the appeal
More of a “fun” season, which I appreciated, but it just doesn’t jive with the other seasons for me
Joel being winner was really a breath of fresh air considering he was kind of an underdog in other seasons
I also love how some of the normally higher placing players placed lower and some of the lower placements placed higher, again it was really refreshing
Most alliances were expected, the Bamboozlers were great tho :)
THIS WAS VERY HARD TO RANK, I LOVE EVERY SEASON, AND I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS!!
