I'm 25, I'm intersex and use masculine articles, I'm a native EN speaker and DE A2 (Slowly learning the language on my own, as I'd love to move to Germany one day).

I first started using Tumblr in... 2013, I believe? Before I had a cellphone, using the desktop site. I've made and deleted a plethora of accounts since then, and I think April of last year is the last time I had said goodbye.

Temporarily, apparently.

I'm pretty allergic to social media as a whole. I couldn't get settled in anywhere else as a new homebase. The best current options I've found, like Dreamwidth and Mastodon, are... Painfully empty. It feels akin to talking into a void with a population so spread out most people miss each other. Isolating, to say the least.

I miss having a blog in a visible place, even if the thought of actually socialising frightens me. So, I'm going to try to rebuild a little something here, and give my original social "natural habitat" another chance.

The gay man community is often just as bad as straight men when it comes to reducing people to their genitals, I've had practically no luck there. And with the general (binary-leaning) trans community, I've had to block some of the tags from my sight here because of how aggressive the infighting can get.

This is the sole reason why I block every single proshipper I see.

It's alienating because I can vibe with a lot of points proshippers make. I personally enjoy some darkshipping stuff and like to use fiction to explore fantasies that would be unethical/criminal to explore in reality.

But defending the objectification of children crosses a line. And this argument is far too common amongst proshippers.

If such fiction can be classified as child sexual abuse material by LAW (Several countries criminalise it currently, and several more are considering it), I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be a wild take to say this definitely crosses the line.

Less than half of the country voted for Trump. We impeached him TWICE but the Senate acquitted him both times. Another impeachment has been proposed, but we doubt it'll do anything this time as well.

Citizens do NOT have as much control over this as the USA government likes to pretend. Our elections are often rigged. We've had high-profile billionaires publicly admit to election fraud via bribery. Votes are bought, and the poor often struggle to vote at all. Most of our citizens are in poverty.
