I am extremely blessed all year round to live in a home that overflows with unconditional love, peace & happiness where the word "home" brings a quietness that uplifts my spirit.

I get emotional because every day, despite my worries, anxieties and failings, I was chosen for & by this man who loves so fiercely. I am the person who retreats when I am offended, hides away from family & friends when I struggle but he always pulls me out to stand in the place God has placed me. He is patient & kind in so many ways that I am still learning.

The proposal was big because of the simple way it was done with just me & him. That was his way of showing he knew me & his way of telling me that he understands the quietness I need. That proposal is small in comparison to the everyday manifestations of love, acceptance & motivation his presence has provided in our household of 2. Thank you @csc_712 for all you do & the strength in all you do❤

Mother nature was showing off today so we took it all in & I got this ray of sunshine right beside me making my heart light up🌳🌞

The Promise ❤ “That we will love each other even when things happen that makes it feel like it might be hard to. No running! Ever. No one walks out. No matter what we lean on each other and the promises of God over our lives. We live life passionately and fearlessly to keep each other young by playing, laughing until food flies from our faces or I snort like I do & keep love the simple small things. We will take care of each other through prayer and encouragement to the day life passes from us. We will above all else keep God the center of our marriage because we are humans and fallible but His love and promises over our lives are firm, everlasting and true beyond all doubt. We will not view each other as perfect or place on a pedestal but instead be unified in our life to emulate the perfect one who teaches us to love each other and those around us perfectly by His example of sacrifice”. Chris, thank you for holding these words so dearly and all the other promises we have made. You are good and warm in ways I am still learning to be and I am grateful for your love. You are not perfect nor do I want you to be but I will strive to love you perfectly and loudly because you deserve only the best as that is what you give me every day in ways I sometimes fail to acknowledge. My forever ❤ Happy Anniversary my love. 2 years ago we embarked on a new part of our journey together and boy has it been a learning curve. Our vows sounded old & traditional but you have kept them so true. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for taking care of me when I am not well, staying up with me countless nights to make sure I am comfortable when the darkness of sickness or fear creeps in. Thank you for always fighting for my dreams and goals even when I fail or delay to fight for myself. You have been kind, loving and the most hardworking husband anyone could be blessed to have. Thank you for all the words and prayers of strength you speak over my life to raise me up. You give me shelter so when I go out into the world I can be joyful and kind because you show me kindness and joy everyday. You are a beautiful man and I am so proud and happy to be your wife.
