Normal Route (peaceful): Hydrangea will have a broken heart from the rejection, so the Fun Gang will have to help it get over the rejection and be more like itself.

—Kris-centered ACTs: Sympathize, Pep Talk, Trim

Sympathize: Minigame, the SOUL will have to choose one of 3 prompts. There is a correct, ineffective, and depressing choice. The correct choice will add 6% to the MERCY meter, the ineffective one will not add any, and depressing will decrease MERCY. 15-20 second time limit, like Clover’s talking ACTs

Pep Talk: Risk-for-reward, Hydrangea’s attacks will grow faster but Kris’s words will make Hydrangea more confident in itself. + 8%

Trim: Simple ACT like Snap in Spamton NEO. Kris will use their sword to trim out the wilted flowers. +2%

—Susie-centered ACTs: S-Action, Roar, Cheer

S-Action (Template, idk what to name it (Same with R-Action)): Susie will run around and challenge Hydrangea to breathe fire. Depending on how much the MERCY meter is filled, this can fail outright or cause 3 of the heads to breathe fire. This will add fireballs to the next attack, either coming from the side or above. +0%-5%

Roar: Susie will roar, trying to goad Hydrangea to roar with her. This won’t do anything until above 75% MERCY. At that point, Hydrangea will gradually get a louder roar, saying stuff like “We deserved better!” “We can still be used!” and “We are the greatest bouquet ever!” in acts of defiance and self-confidence, screaming to the sky. +10%

Cheer: Only works one turn after Roar, having Susie yell positively at Hydrangea’s defiance and telling it that it’s doing great. +3%

—Ralsei-Centered ACTs: R-Action, Convince, Reason

R-Action: Ralsei will summon a fireball, attempting to get Hydrangea’s attention. He slips (or Hydrangea leans too close) and Hydrangea gets burned slightly. Hydrangea will think it got betrayed again and get upset. Attacks deal more damage. -5%

Convince: Ralsei will try to convince Hydrangea that it’ll be fine. Take a wild guess at what his argument is. -10% (Susie will yell in the small text “You’re making it worse, dumbass!”)

Reason: Ralsei will try and reason with Hydrangea, saying it’s acting somewhat irrationally over a lightner. Hydrangea will yell, saying “SHE WAS OUR ONE TRUE LOVE!” -10%

Ralsei’s boss-specific ACTs will be unavailable after one of these is used. After the boss, Ralsei will try and be more flexible and positive to those situations.

IF YOU BROUGHT BERDLY TO THE FESTIVAL, HE WILL APPEAR

—Berdly-centered ACTs: Chivalry, Roleplay, B-Sympathise

Chivalry: Berdly will talk to Hydrangea like it’s a peaceful dragon and he is a knight, complimenting its size and power, saying it’s like Biolante (or whatever its version is in Deltarune). Hydrangea will be touched by the comparison and one of the flowers will bloom and blush. +15% (Only available once, as Berdly won’t be able to think of enough on the fly)

Roleplay: Berdly will hold up his halberd, asking if Hydrangea will be the beast he (the warrior) has to slay in a quick game. Hydrangea will agree, having genuine fun in the game. +5%

B-Sympathize: Berdly will sympathize with Hydrangea’s feelings, saying he gets how it feels to be consistently rejected, especially during the festival. Hydrangea will appreciate the support. +5%

IF YOU BROUGHT ALONG NOELLE AND CONVINCED SUSIE, SHE WILL BE TOO SCARED TO ACT, ONLY ABLE TO USE HER NORMAL ACTS.

—Group-centered ACTs: GroupTrim (+13%), Comfort (+10%), Water (+1%-15% (minigame of watering a jar of flowers))

—Darkners helping ACTs: Slay, Quickdraw

The samurai and cowboy darkners will have opportunities to “attack” Hydrangea, adding SPARE, making the next attack harder in a way, and being knocked out of the battle after their ACT.

Slay: A samurai darkner will try to behead Hydrangea. Two more heads will appear in its place and throw them. This will add more projectiles to the next attack. +16%

Quickdraw: A cowboy darkners will try to shoot at Hydrangea’s chest nonlethally. They will hit a shoulder/leg, causing attacks to move slower and hit a little harder. This will also damage Hydrangea. +4% (+up to 8% more if the SOUL can hover over the injury long enough to patch it up.)

Normal Route (violent): The Slay ACT will do more damage to replace the MERCY progress. Quickdraw will also damage Hydrangea, but less if the SOUL hovers over the injury.

Hydrangea will be harmed and start to wilt as the fight goes on, eventually running away and giving up after long enough. Attacks will get desperate as they start to realize what’s happening, dealing extra damage and being ever so slightly faster (gradually because game design).

Berdly will be able to harm Hydrangea much more effectively than any other party member until Turn 5, where he coaches Susie to aim for the heart or the stems instead of the heads, in which case they will both do increased damage.

Noelle’s damage will be decreased, as she will be terrified of Hydrangea. IceShock and her normal attack won’t do nearly as much (sort of like the Knight’s damage decrease)

Weird Route: Noelle’s damage will increase as she’s no longer feeling much of anything. Kris will re-learn X-Slash.

When Hydrangea is defeated (must be defeated by IceShock), they will be fully wilted and frozen.
