heyyo hereâs a fun fact for yâall
trans women donât experience male socialization before we come out
we experience closeted trans woman socialization which is an entirely different and extremely toxic monster
thank and have a terrible day if you disagreeÂ
hi if youâre safe to do so you should probably be reblogging this the idea that trans women are socialized as anything but women is one of the most potent arguments for stripping us of our humanity
This means so much to me Iâll reblog it again and again.
My body tells me it should have breasts and no facial hair.
Society tells me I should have facial hair and no breasts.
I wish theyâd both shut up. No wonder I want to be a disembodied consciousness, and struggle to feel a connection with my body.

Not everyone is who they show to the world.
truth
This hits me hard. I felt this so much before. So blessed to be able to transition when I did.
I have a rule to reblog this every time it appears in my feed. Itâs too perfect.

Why should nonbinary people work to be accepted by society when we could fight to change it?
Set aside worries of conforming and acceptability. Letâs work to end the structures that continue bigotry, and the oppression we face.
Letâs dismantle that nonsense, not try to âfixâ it.
Enough of trying to make others comfortable with our existence.

if exploring your gender is âbecoming a trendâ then iâm glad itâs replacing the âbeing confused and miserable with no context or vocabulary for what youâre going throughâ trend
there is honestly zero things wrong with people exploring their gender
Exploring your gender leads to either discovering a gender identity you feel more comfortable with than the one you were assigned at birth or realizing you identify best with your assigned gender except now you have a better understanding/awareness of trans, genderfluid, and nonbinary people and can begin to break down the toxic, transphobic bullshit you have most likely heard or seen at some point in your life :)
Itâs a win-win

Being a Trans woman complicates everybsingle social interaction 1000% and thereâs no way to explain this to cis people.
Literally every single aspect, legitimately. Going out for groceries, applying for jobs, working your job, everything. And you try to explain this and I usually hear back something along the lones of âwell fuck em! They dint matter u just gotta be u!!1!1â and like yes, sure totally in theory, youâre so right, but in the real world where people have very bigoted and violent prejudices,,, when almost every1 u interact w/ looks like theyâre about to burst ot laughing @ u, when people just look so straight up grossed out by you,,,,,like shit it gets so fucking rough and itâs every day
Itâs so bad most of us avoid going out at least part of the time if not most
Thatâs true, when I first started getting involved with the Trans community I was surprised by how many people just stayed at home all the time, but now thatâs how I am, I hate being outside my apartment with strangers staring at me.
I mean, thatâs what non-trans people want
They want all of us weird transes to either look flawless and be colorful quirky characters, or they want us to fucking go away for good
Erasure of trans people is just that. Not just from media or dialogue. Itâs literally erasure of trans society and well-being. Itâs an act of violence and there are people out there committing it every other day.
We need to start reminding ourselves that erasure is violent. Itâs not just a discourse buzz word, this is reality.
