i need us freaks to stake a greater claim on kon. i need us to explore kon's perception of romance and relationships being so warped that he kisses clark thinking that's what he's supposed to do, with an adult who thinks he's a good...boy? hero? super? i need us to think about "i was made to be superman" morphing into "i am made to do whatever superman needs me for". i need us to get weirder and freakier and more obsessive over kon falling so deep into that dehumanising feeling which so much of his life has fostered that he starts to view denying himself personhood as his duty.
