Robert Robertson III

Hello everybody! I haven't done a post in a while and I am so, SO, sorry about that. I've been training really hard and kind of hit a rough patch but Robert has been helping me out of it. He's an amazing boss!! I'm really thankful for him! 🐠🫧

With that said, it's pride month! I wanted to say happy pride to everyone esspically @hottestonzteam. I'm not singling him out because he's gay, I am as well!! Hence my post for pride! Also happy pride to @roberto-robertoson-sdn and everyone else on Z team!

Now with that said, I wanted to talk about mimic octopus! They are incredibly fanciating and in my personal opinion, very fitting for pride.

Mimic octopus are able to change their shape and form to escape predators, they have also been recorded to do this at will! They are able to blend in better then most octopi while also being more adept at mimicking their surroundings, hence their name (mimic octopus)! They are known to switch between up to 18 different marine animals, also changing their behaviour to match the mimicked creature!

Overall I think they are very cool and pride month gave me an excuse to finally research more octopi like I said I wanted too a while back now!

I can confirm that Waterboy has been training very hard and we are all very proud of him here at SDN, much as he might not believe it. Everyone tell Waterboy you're proud of him. He could use it, I think. And those octopi are very cool, I do very much enjoy these marine life facts.

Going back to the topic of pride month, now feels like a great time to say fuck biphobia/bi erasure. As a bi person, we have existed and always will, and we are valid in our sexuality.

I mean... I get that they might be frustrated with me! I'm not very good at things but I think I'm improving? I'm trying to. I really am. I swear I'm trying. Robert tells me I'm doing better. As he says "the path to success isn't a straight line." I'm trying to believe that!

Work day debrief!

I'm getting better at being more regular with these! I think it's becoming apart of my routine at the end of the day!

Shift one didn't go well, I think I was right in saying it was beginners luck. The puddles came back alot more and I've just become more nervous. I don't know why. I look up to the Z team (and @roberto-robertoson-sdn ) alot. I see Flambae's ( @hottestonzteam ) name at the top of the board every day and I just want to be better. I want to be more like him. He's a strong hero and he has friends. I lack that... I don't have that.

Lunch went better, I am eating with Robert regularly and he brings me food which is nice- really nice! I can't stop thinking about the outing if I'm completely honest.

Second shift followed suit with first shift. Robert was helpful but he has other hero's to check on at the end of the day... I don't really know how to be a better hero. It's just constant ups and downs.

I want to be friends with Flambae and I know that's probably stupid, he glares at me and I know he doesn't like me. I'm happy being friends with Robert- I love being friends with Robert. I just wish I had more people, esspically those I could look up to and learn a thing or two from.

I have a friend- Robert. Robert is my friend. I can be cool? I mean... No. Not really. I like things? Like music and fish. I guess that's not really cool though.

I mean- he said would've invited me to his place, I don't think it's because he is pitying me...

As for the music it's mostly metal! I used to go to alot- I mean ALOT of gigs. I had the long hair, piercings and everything!

A different type of debrief! (work included but summed up!)

Okay! So, I will do my usual debrief but summed up because I have the outing to talk about and I think it's more interesting and I'm excited to share!

First shift went better then usual, Robert spoke me through alot more like he said he would and I think maybe, just maybe, I'm improving.

Lunch was amazing, me and Robert ate together like yesterday and he said he's taking me to the outing if the Z team agree or not because he says I'm apart of it, no matter what they say!

Second shift was a bit of a blur, I was really looking forward to the outing but also downing in my nerves. Apparently it didn't go bad despite this, I might be being lied to...

Outing!!!! Eeeeek!!!!

Okay. So the outing. We went to a bar downtown, it's a hero one because the team said if I HAVE to come (which according to Robert, I do) they wouldn't take me to a villain bar because I'm not cool enough. That hurt a bit but they agreed to let me come. Flambae didn't seem happy with this arrangement but he didn't say too much other then some insults which Robert told him to stop doing.

Okay, onto the actual bar, it was a nice place. Quite rowdy which scared me to be honest but Robert kept his hand on my shoulder and got me a drink once we were all seated at a booth thingy. It was a blue buzz ball if anyone was wondering. I really like blue things.

I continued to drink about three? I got a bit tipsy if I am completely honest but as the night went on, Flambae went off to do karaoke, Prism was his biggest supporter, Malevola and Sonar went to play pool, golem was in his own corner and punch up was dancing with Coupe. That left me and Robert at the booth. I don't know how red I was but I know my face was hot and I know I go red very easily. I want to say it was the alcohol but I couldn't take my eyes away from him... I know he has this account but he's pretty.

He ended up walking me to my apartment when everyone started leaving. I said goodbye at the door. I would've invited him in but my... Cats wouldn't agree. My cats. It was a nice outing. Really nice. I honestly didn't think it would go so well but it did. I had a really, REALLY good time. Sorry for the longer post everyone! 🐠🫧

Work day debrief!

This is my second work day debrief! I'm not very good at posting these regularly but I remebered today! Tumblr also has just made it disappear multiple times so I'm sorry if this isn't up to my usual standard!

First shift went bad. Like... Really fucking bad. I'm starting to think about quiting, the Z team hates me anyway and I just feel like a hindrance. I'm meant to be helpful but I don't think I'm helping if I'm slipping over in my own puddles, other people are slipping over in my puddles. It's just not going good. I keep having panic attacks when things go slightly wrong which I'm sure isn't helping anyone. Callers are spesifically asking for me to not be sent now.

Lunch actually went well, really well. It lifted my spirits alot! I got to eat lunch with Robert like we planned! He got me a chair to sit on at his desk and everything! I got Robert cookies again and I got beef some treats! Robert even got me my favourite shark gummies which was so cool. He's so cool. That's besides the point.

Second shift went... Better, I want to say. Alot better. Robert spoke me through the calls alot more and stopped me from multiple panic attacks which was nice. I still don't know if I should stay on the Z team, I feel like a burden but I'm still trying. Robert is helping, alot. I think theirs an outing soon? I hope I'm invited. It might be nice. :)

Please don't get yourself down like this. Seriously. You joined the Z-Team at a time where everyone was stressed and grasping at straws just to keep the team going, of course you aren't going to be amazing at first. Especially when you didn't even have time to finish your hero training.

Callers can be very insufferable for no good reason. It's important to me that you know this.

I can keep talking you through your missions if it helps, after all, it's what I'm here to do. Assist and manage heroes.

Okay I said would post about work so:

Work day debrief!

I'm a hero instead of a janitor now but I still clean up around the SDN office in the morning for everyone! I think there are other cleaners?... I honestly don't know. I left Robert some cookies on his desk today and some treats for beef!

When being called out on first shift, I don't think I messed up too badly? I probably did actually. Now I am thinking about it. I slipped on my own puddles three times, Sonar fell over in one in big bat form... Still sorry about that by the way if you see this and Flambae threatened to "light" me up five times. I don't know if he knows this but I'm always wet. He would have to do alot to do that... Not that I think it would discourage him though.

Lunch went okay. I ate in the jaintors closet again, it's easier then stuttering out arkward conversation through watermelon and I know I can't annoy anyone that way.

On last call out shift it went... Worse. I was panicking by that point because first shift didn't go well. More puddles were everywhere and I messed up on alot of calls. One of the people who called wanted me to take care of a cat? It was NOT a cat. It was a fucking lion or a tiger. It was scary. I ran away and the lady who called got very angry at me. I'm sorry everyone. I'm... Trying. I promise I'm trying.

Beef also appreciated the treats! He is partial to chicken flavoured things. I'll have to get more of them for him.

You really didn't need to leave an apology note, you know. I'm not sure if you're aware but Flambae was the worst performing hero today. Not you. I'm not mad at you, the Z-Team isn't mad at you. They just like being dicks for the sake of being dicks.

And hey, you could always sit with me at lunch. I don't have anyone to talk to and the janitors' closet has all sorts of bullshit in there. It can't be comfortable.
