When you’re so tired of the negativity and pettiness at work you start losing your cool. At least you’re thinking it
Me waking up for night shift.
Personally, I’m looking forward to reading the article about how Millennials killed the NRA

When you have multiple continuous drips and IV antibiotics that aren't compatible
I hear this too much
“I shouldn’t have to/don’t want to pay for someone else’s healthcare.”
Just to be clear, if you have health insurance or partake of healthcare as a consumer in any way, you are already paying for those who don’t have coverage. And usually we’re paying for their expensive catastrophes, not cheap preventative care. To say that expanding coverage is not financially doable is either incredibly naive or willfully ignorant.
Yes, the machinations of the industry are complex and the money trail is convoluted. But healthcare is inherently social. It doesn’t take an economist to know that paying ten bucks for someone’s blood pressure medicine makes more sense than footing the bill for 500K after their hemorrhagic stroke.
Also it’s just the right thing to do.
When I realize I’m the most senior nurse working on the floor that night
You know...
I feel like one thing they should teach these poor new grads coming in is how to cope with petty and duplicitous nurses...because Jesus there are a lot of them.
