Many people, myself included, started watching anti-sjw content when we were teenagers. No shit we didn’t have critical thinking skills at the time! Plus even if someone fell into those beliefs after they turned 18, is it really their fault that they went to a school that failed to properly educate them?

What are you expecting, really? That google is going to magically change a persons mind? That knowledge will flow into them in a glorious ascension? It’s not that simple. Sitting there on the security that you are good and right and expecting others to make the right decision is tantamount to doing nothing, and it’s the same line of thinking that got us into this mess.

Anyways I noticed that I didn’t really know much about disabled people or disabled rights so I decided to go find disabled activists and educators and followed them. They post often and educate people because buts what they chose to do. They post resources and I just used that as a starting point and did my own research and would always refer back to the people I was following to see if it would match up and if it’s legit. Eventually I just became good at spotting bullshit on my own it’s not hard.

I would never go up to a disabled person and ask them to start spilling all their life details when hundredd of disabled people have already made the information available online. And I did this when I was 15/16. Some of you are fully grown adults acting like being told to research is the worst thing in the world.
