"I think that depends on how you want people to see you." Dan looked at the younger male. "I used to be Gossip Girl way back when I was in high school, don't know who runs it now, but, it seems like whoever is in charge, wants to write just so people will notice her."

"She did, it's great when karma works that fast." She smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine." She nodded. "My ass is sore, but I'm fine."

Dan laughed. "Better a sore ass and a bruised ego, than a broken bone, you know?"

"Yeah, I guess that is very true." He said with a chuckle. "You ever think of taking up that title again?"

Dan laughed at the question and shook his head. "No, not in a million years. That part of my life is closed and done for good."

"Says the original queen of gossip himself?" Cressida teases. "I've been good Humphrey. How about you?"

"Yeah, well, at least when I was Gossip Girl, I wrote credible stuff. Whoever runs the account now just seems to like to talk to see what lands." He looked at Cressida and smiled. "I'm doing pretty good, can't complain. You going to the Heatwave party this month?"

Cressida stood near the edge of the bar, her gaze drifting over the crowd as if she were searching for something more interesting than polite conversation. A faint, knowing smile touched her lips as she lifted her glass, clearly entertained by something no one else seemed to notice.

"I don't know, I feel like if I talk shit about Gossip Girl, then she'll write about me, and honestly, I am loving not having her write about me." He laughed. "How have you been, Cressida?"

"Okay, I feel like Gossip Girl's credibility is starting to fall off. It seems like everything she posts lately, is starting to be the same story, but just with different people." @ggstarterblog

"Well, I hate to say it, but Gossip Girl has fallen off since Kate Keller got caught." He looked at him. "It's ridiculous."

" writer's block? You could go behind the scenes of the upcoming event, the bad side of the met gala...?" Mary suggested him.

He laughed. "I do not want to do that. I try to stay away from any galas that I can." He said with a shrug.

Mary had been a little out of the loop when it came to the town gossip and where everyone was at, having taking time away to enjoy the perks of being a married woman with her husband and a few friends. So the trip to the coffee shop with a friend was just what the doctor had ordered. " I need to be filled on what has going on, I feel like I've only been to town for work and the parties."

"Honestly, I have been trying to figure out what to write next, but I am at a loss, with everything." He admitted and looked at Mary.

"I got to witness someone getting instant karama this morning and it was amazing. So, I came out of my building and I slipped on my ass, and this bitch laughed at me. Like she peaked in high school and obviously never got over the whole popular girl thing and as she walked past me, she fell and her coffee spilled all over her new luxury white faux fur coat. "Well sounds like she needed that to be honest." He looked at her. "Are you okay though?"

"Well they can take their anger and shove it up their asses." Jordan laughed. "I'm not one to play about that shit."

Dan laughed. "I know you aren't and you shouldn't be, no one should be." He said. "Besides that, how are you doing?"

"Just a rival attorney being stupid and not knowing their head from their ass." She shrugged and looked at Dan. "Kind of a usual and common thing though here."

Dan laughed. "I think that's just common for some people here in Manhattan, doesn't matter what career they are in." He shrugged. "That sucks that you do have to deal with it though, no omne should have to deal wit that shit."

"People keep asking me if I'll be going back to the NFL anytime soon and they get really mad when I tell them that I won't and act like I ruined their life because of it. It is truly wild." @ggstarterblog

Hanna sat perched on the edge of a café table she definitely did not order from, sunglasses pushed into her hair and phone abandoned face down like she was daring it to interrupt her. She scanned the street with lazy confidence, lips curved in a half smile that suggested she already knew something everyone else did not.

Dan raised a brow at Hanna and chuckled. "Uh well, you kinda look like you want to be left alone." He admitted. "Do you want me to walk away or no?"

"Maybe the reason your clients keep loosing is because you can't tell the difference between your head and your ass, now if you'll excuse me, I'm meeting someone." Nesta said with an eyeroll and pushed past another attorney she had issues with. Walking past them, she walked up to someone and smiled and said, "Get me out of here as fast as you can?" @ggstarterblog

"I can do that, yeah." Dan nodded and looked at Nesta. He looked at the person Nesta had just left and then back at her. "Do I even want to know what that is about?"
