might have been the cut off for renewal ratings. if so, they’d want as many people watching for a strong “final” showing to prove the show deserved a season 4. which makes it even more disgusting.

Exactly. I bet it was the cutoff b/c your right in that it was a stupid ep to hype otherwise. The chip/key shit in her neck…really…we were suppose to even care at that point. They could’ve pulled Jesus out and it wouldn’t have matter. Still so disgusted.

Actually it’s because the actor is actually a full time cast member contracted with AMC for Fear the Walking Dead. This has been coming since she got the role last year. Better gig, can’t blame her for going. The show runner said he had to beg to get her for this many episodes and knew ep 7 was the last he would have her.

But she is in another episode. They didn’t need to bring her back if they were just going to kill her…in a ridiculous way. They didn’t need to lead viewers on. My bad for believing them. Won’t make that mistake again. Also, and I could be completely wrong, but didn’t the FTWD people say she could be on x amount of episodes each season? This is stuck in my head, but I have no evidence and perhaps made it up/misunderstood.

She is a main character so I think she will be in every episode this coming season, but I have to proof of that. On her next The 100 ep, she is in the finale, probably because her consciousness was uploaded to wherever the city of light is (virtual reality?). My guess is they filmed this early on so that she could go to FTWD. Also, Clarke sees her because she somehow gets clued into whatever Jaha is handing out.  Do I like that they killed her? No. But I do like the finality that it will bring once Clarke or whoever destroys Alie. She’s not just gone off somewhere else in the world for us to hope for her to come back. She is gone for good. Hope can be torturous as well.

If they would let me go home for the Holidays, I would still work one day a month at Best Buy just for the discount. 

Heteronormativity is so ingrained in us from childhood that little girls can’t even recognise when they have little crushes on other girls, and that’s why being gay is seen as an “adult” thing; only when you’re old enough to reason critically are you able to recognise the crushes you had as a child.
