I realize this is a brand new take and that I have obvi become an exclusively ts4 blog but I can't help but still be bothered by how much better ts3 is 10 years later
I wish EA being all in on ts4 instead of going into ts5 meant that it would evolve into a mix of the two. Patterns, custom lots and worlds, sims being manipulatable objects that are easy to pose, vehicles, the whole deal. ts4 is great in so many ways but as a sequel it falls short.

world building is taking longer than anticipated, so in lieu of sim related updates I offer the best girl instead

on last year's episode, I spent like a full week making lots/sims for a SLOMW-adjacent playthrough. there was a twist, and I remember what the twist was, but I can't remember how it was implemented.

I've spent the last few days going back and forth about the lot I'm building for my story and like... I originally decided that I wanted to leave the EA-built house and just redecorate but I genuinely hate it, it's too big

I've downloaded so much cc over the last few days that I think my computer might give up, but I believe I'm going to start two saves - a full on written story that I can use cute poses etc in, and a gameplay save, which I can just blast through and not really edit/write about (but maybe post? idk). it'll allow me to satisfy my ADHD brain and go back and forth between gameplay & hyperfocused storytelling.
