“Hiraeth” Art - Part Three: First and Last and Always

And it’s finally here - Shunak’s poster art for Part Three of “Hiraeth”. It has everything - even Luke’s infamous goat, who seems to be a real readers’ favorite. The reference for Kylo was Adam in “Silence” - the gaunt, exhausted look perfectly illustrates the loss of idealism, a prominent theme in this part of the story.

Anyway, ladies and gents - it is September 2000, the last days of the regime. As the empire crumbles around them, the star-crossed love between Kylo and Rey reaches its peak.

“Hiraeth” Art - Part Two: Hunky Dory

Yo! I’m happy to share Shunak’s amazing poster art for Part Two of “Hiraeth”.

The year is 1996, the protests against the regime are in full swing, and after three years of not speaking to each other, Kylo and Rey reconnect - what was once a friendship with awkward attempts at flirting quickly becomes a passionate relationship that spirals out of control.

“Hiraeth” Art - Part One: Bloodflowers

So, after 200k words and two years of blood, sweat and tears, recently I’ve finally finished “Hiraeth”, my Reylo AU set in Serbia during the Yugoslav Wars. Working on this project was something akin to a pilgrimage, where a fucking Star Wars fic of all things helped me process my memories and experiences - and now that it’s completed, it feels so damn good. I’m happy to share the “official” art created by my best friend and alpha reader, Shunak - he made a poster for each part of the story, and I’m gonna be posting them all in the next few days.

This is the poster for Part One, in which the story begins with an orphan girl and an awkward young man meeting under the linden trees, on a gloomy November afternoon in 1993.

The Red String of Fate - Rey’s Force Vision

( So as I promised here’s my Episode IX re-make, part 1 💙) ( TROS does not exist, my epIX re-creation is not related to that garbage movie at all )

Rey goes for a walk in the forest, to find peace…to find answers within herself….Then suddenly she feels something in the Force…a figure of a small boy runs across the path in front of her. He feels somehow familiar…

As she watches the child, the trees begin to thin and transform into tall white pillars…

 A tall figure appears in the distance, the little boy happily runs to him…the man holds out its arms, swinging the laughing child into the air..she could recognize “him” anywhere…Ben. And their child. Her family.

When she opened her teary eyes again…the force vision was gone.
