‘’I uh.. think that they ran off that way with it. I didnt know my friends were going to actually do it. Sorry?’’

‘’Its over now, Devlin. Everything will go back to normal in no time.’’

‘’I..I cant. If I do then I’ll just embarrass myself.’’

“You’re not playing it with the right drinking game then,” he said. Shrugging at the suggestion crossed his arms, “don’t worry, I’m not gonna faint on you or anything. It’s just bodily fluid.”

‘’What can I say, I’m not much of a big drinker.’’ She added, happy to find a reason to at least smile with someone. ‘’Bodily fluid, its a kind of funny how thats my least favourite word and I’m surrounded by it. Its all right if you do, someone did vomit on my shoes before, I just cant promise to catch you. I'm Riley.’’

“I bloody hope not, that’s the last thing this town needs–– Well maybe you are.” Regina stated before making a slight sniffling noise and scrunching up her nose.

‘’No signs of weird noises or people eating brains- - I think I might be safe. Have you heard anything from the doctors yet?’’ 

“Well not all of us. Some of us are quite immune to this disgusting plague that seems to have resided here. I could just kill you to save you from that disgusting thought.”

‘’How many of us are actually..immune?. Oh, thanks but um maybe once I turn into one? I’ll let you save me then. I still have some hope left.’’ 

“I sure hope not. Not sure anyone is ready for that to become a reality.” Landon replied, as he looked over at the woman. Vaguely seeing the blood. “Have you seen a Doctor yet?”

‘’I feel like theres some people out there who have a zombie survival plan ready to go.’’ She said, wiping the blood stained around her mouth. ‘’No, not yet. I can wait.. I’m sure theres others who seem worse -- how are you feeling?’’

“Hey now, iron deficiency is no laughing matter,” Kevin replied, handing the woman another wad of tissues.

‘’True, afterall.. the walking dead isn't a tv comedy.’’ She added in with a light laugh, smiling softly before she grabbed only some of the tissues he handed out to her. ‘’I think its best if you keep some as well..I mean, not saying that you’ll get worse.. I just-- never mind..’’

“…Let’s hope not.” Silas returned the small smile, handing the brunette a cup of water that was handed to him earlier. “Here – drink. It’ll make your throat feel less…dry.”

‘’At least that would be one thing crossed off my to do before I die list.. be in the newspaper.’’ Looking at the cup, she simply shook her head. ‘’I’m sure you need it as just as I do. Keep it, there will be someone else worse off.’’

‘’Versions? theres more than one?’’ She lightly chuckled, accepting his offer of help by keeping a hold of the towel. ‘’Wait, before you tell me more-- should I prepare myself for any future nightmares?’’

‘'Should I start singing now or later?’’ She lightly laughed. ‘’Its either I stay hopeful or I guess think the worst of all of this..preachers daughter-- - all I know to go to is faith and the bible. I’ll try keep my distance, sorry for being a worrywart.’’

‘’..I was just checking, this town..us..we all have to stick together.’’ She said through her cough, causing more blood to cover her handkerchief. ‘’I wouldn't call any of this just nothing.’’

‘’Am I -- - are we going to die?’’

Before he knew what happened— Milo slipped and fell backwards on the slick tile. Blood being the cause of loosing his footing. Definitely not his own. He groaned as a hand moved to the back of his head. “Now my headache just got worse. This is just great.”

Jaw slightly dropped at the scene that happened before her, she tried to rush over to to kneel at his side, almost stumbling over her weak self in the process. ‘’Would it make this any better if I said it was only my blood that you’re in right now?...’’

‘’I’m sorry, I-I just...I don’t understand whats going on. I’m worried about my Dad and I’m worried about the whole town..I’m -- am I dying?’’
