It is my hearts desire to never take God for granted because the way He has loved, protected, guarded, blessed and lavished us is out of this world - literally its heavenly. It's SUPERNATURAL. After all the deep sadness, nothingness, tears, agony, suffering, trauma and pain - we now live an abundant life filled with peace and joy so much that we have room to give to others. I'm overjoyed and in real tears. Drinking coffee in our home has a meaning I can't utter in words. My soul rejoices because I never thought I'd get to this place of happiness and hunger for God. Most of you have been in my life since Rick and I got married (2012 or earlier) so you saw the way the last decade shaped and changes us. You saw the ups and downs of being a young black Christian couple who didn't know what they were doing besides working a 9-5. You saw the sacrifices. You saw the leap of faith. You saw the days we were confused and frustrated. You even saw the days we wanted to give up. BUT GOD. Yet, God has created a healthy, safe, intimate, transparent, adventurous and prosperous marriage for us. It's ALL due to YOU, Papa. Thank you for bringing beauty from ashes, our nights into days, our tears to laughter, and our brokenness to wholeness. Thank you family and friends for cheering us on and reminding us who we are and who we were destined to become. We celebrate the victories with you. And I want to thank my Spiritual Parents, Apostle Jonathan Ferguson and Prophet Amanda Ferguson. Praise Report and Diet Update! 1. The photo on the left is from March 2019 (173ibs) 2. The photo on the right is from March 2022 (160ibs) In 3 years I have successfully learned how to be both a healthy and unhealthy vegan. Let me explain. The pink dress is pre-military. I started my packet for the Army reserves 6 short months after the photo in the pink was taken. And at that time I had a portion control life, ate all my veggies, ate meat and drank my vegan shakes. I worked out 5-6 times a week but was still constently bloated, having stomach issues and wasny losing weight. I had a colonoscopy the year prior and I was struggling to eat the right foods but I ATE good haha. I didnt drink nearly enough water and my sleeping was all over the place. The black dress was 2 days ago and I honestly do about 10 miles of walking daily, drink more than my body weight and sleep 7 hours consistenly most night. I learned last summer that extreme workouts over long periods of time (for women) throw off your hormones and I decided I wouldnt do that the same way again. I stopped doing Beachbody workouts, I stopped working my Beachbody business and I began to walk, meditate, pray and get most of my workouts from extreme prayer (if you have questions about that hit me up). And I never felt better. I never looked better. And I am excited to reintroduce mercury free fish into my diet (im allergic to mercury). I've decided to become a pescatarian moving into Active Duty Chaplaincy (full time army status) so I can run and keep up with my Soldiers. This is a very personal decision but I want to be honest and transparent with you all (so when you see fish you dont look at me crazy haha). Right now I simply dont eat enough protein for the amount of workouts I am transitioning into. Will I ever be vegan again? I hope so because my body and my spirit love it. Yet I had to come to terms with the truth that I am my happiest when I am satisfied and performing at my optimal capacity. And my total wellness capacity is at 75% right now. Its time to get LIT in the kitchen so that I can perform and exceed my own expectation for myself. Thank you for your accountability and prayers.
