The weird route is the 'romance' aka 'yandere' route between the player and Kris.
So you're playing the game and don't really care about the other characters you really like Kris ......you only like Kris, they're having fun and befriending other characters.
So you have to get rid of them.
it's the jevil route, i'm free being in the cage (kris) i like it here! i'm having fun with the game! you're just paralleling sans, doing whatever you want, not caring about anything but you.
everyone who stands in our way will die. toxic abusive relationship.
the player is represented by noelle . the player is willing to 'take any pain' to be with kris. take aaaany like way, grind, beat all the 5 secret bosses, and takes a long time, takes your energy. and you're like ohhh i'll do it alll to be with you kris! to be you!
and kris isnt the knight they're like royalty, you will beat the knight guarding kris, aka kris themselves, you will beat the dragon (susie) and get the princess(royalty, kris)
and noelle = 'the player' is in pain right?? symbolically we've seen people play genocide or teh weird route. they're kind of like "its so tough to do this! :/" like oh berdly it hurts me to have to do this, ohhh its sooo painful freezing everyoooone~ but i'll do it alll to be with you kris, i'll do whatever it takes. i'll have to become strong, FOR KRIS.

like it's like everyone, you, kris, noelle is like this is all kris' fault they're doing this, they're making me do this.
if kris faults themselves for the divorce they definitely fault themselves for this. and they think they're doing this, they're to blame for making you do this. just like domestic violence and abuse goes. so you're just a character thats all powerful and you really like kris, but kris 'chose you' and has 'hope' that you will change and stop abusing them.
and they see you as an innocent fawn. that they allegedly abused before and were jealous of. um, and the divorce also impacts them not wanting to leave, their brother left as well and they have no friends. so they really need someone who will just 'be strong' and make the decisions for them.
ALSO they have no control in their life and are ignored and dismissed by their parents, the perfect victim for abuse. they admire you as well
and kris/ralsei goes "well maybe we shouldnt be alone at the festival tomorrow" . ralseis every command is pretty meek and docile, just like kris is so frail and soft. powerless. because they feel so low of themselves.
sure kris once given power is a pretty big douche, they are also very strong like noelle, they just refuse to use that power. i think it's because of your abuse. "kris you said you'd protect me " kris doesn't want to hurt people....and use their full strength.
so they think by making the player more powerful it's their fault for being so weak, that you have to get more powerful for them. because they can't protect themselves, so maybe the weird route is the only way to win against the dark. by being alone, by being all powerful.
it goes back to hope, hoping it's gonna get all better and gonna end soon.
everyones like "this is representing a heteronormative relationship" you know dumbass takes, and i was like, what relationship even is this? it's the yandere love story of the player and kris. you're willing to hurt anyone so that you can get stronger and kris can win the game. together.
and kris doesn't want to win the game and mow everyone down,they want to have friends and want to be happy, and want to be friends with you to and hang out, and play. they have a hard time socializing to me i believe they could be either autistic or severely traumatized or both.
like "maybe we could try being nice.." thats like a really traumatized persons request like its like they're tugging at your pants and being like be nice please i cant do it. and with playing this you ignore them because YOU'RE the main character and you don't really care about them.
"she's gone yandere for me" the line parallels the weird route. you're obsessed with kris and being the main character. and don't care about them and just care about yourself.
it's not kriselle or heteronormativity or whatever, because you..don't want them together , you want her to suffer and for kris to make her suffer while they suffer. they'll all just be used for your amusement.
