Pandora’s body was a gift. Each aspect carefully crafted to appeal to those whom were meant to have her. As Hephaestus molded her from his finest clay, his goddess wife sewed beauty into her ashen skin. Athena clothed her in a shroud of silk as the queen mother breathed both life and her insatiable urges under it. In turn, each Olympian gave their lot till finally, Hermes gave her his greatest gifts: the ability to lie and a name filled with every irony he could impose. Zeus smiled greatly at the work they had done. 

Pandora’s body was a curse. Each aspect carefully crafted to punish the one who had stolen the gods’ precious fire. Aphoridite’s gift filled other with both desire and ire as Hera’s gave her the infamy of setting the world aflame. Hermes had lit her tongue with deceitfulness and eager craft, but it was Zeus that had stuck in her mind. He knew that each gift had its job and Pandora’s body followed could only follow after. 

Pandora’s body was the duality of her great beauty and her many terrible ills. Her body was filled with pestilence and greed.; it attracted both. Her body was a gift unto men and the price for fire.
