And Marta, her heart in her throat again, thinks that she should perhaps simply retire. She should simply retreat to her family mansion, nurture her drinking habit, tend to her rose hybrids, and forget about Agent Valero’s reckless smile and earnest eyes, and most definitely about the way she now moves to stand.

There had been a formal evening gown and a formal updo involved at the start of this mission, but now Agent Valero’s hair freely tumbles down onto her shoulders, moved by the air whirled up by the rotor blades above her. Marta resolutely shoves away thoughts of when, at point of the night, and in what setting, the mission hairdo became undone and if someone – regrettably, not Marta – is responsible for that disheveled look. She will have to impress the importance of formality onto her team again at post-mission brief.

But that is as far as Marta gets before Agent Valero starts walking towards the helicopter, and towards Marta, and thought ceases to be an option altogether.

That is one oligarch less to worry about, and one yacht that just lost its owner, Fina thinks as she uprights herself gingerly – her ribs are not going to be happy tomorrow, that’s for sure – and nods at the thumbs up Claudia is giving her.

“Nice aim, girl!”

Marta is raising her head where she is sprawled in front of to Fina on the tile floor, pushed against the bar with Fina still half bent over her. Marta seems all right, if shaken, and that is the only thing that matters to Fina. But as she glances at Marta, scanning for wounds and relieved to find none, she also realizes that Marta is now very close to her. She is also looking up at Fina, a little dazed.

"Agent Valero? Status report.”

If Fina could rewind those crisp tones a few times, she might detect a hint of worry in Marta Bosley’s voice.

But Fina has no time for that right now. Her leg is tiring where she keeps it hooked around the rope for dear life, and she has other things to worry about, like the gaping abyss beneath her. “A little back-up would be nice,” she admits over the intercom. She tries to sound casual.

“James might still be in the area –”

“I’ll be fine,” Fina grits out because there is no way she will depend on that smarmy MI6 agent in front of Bosley, even if Fina is currently dangling upside down from a thin rope off a massive water dam and her fountain pen grappler isn’t working.

(or, one of La Reina's Angels has a thing for Marta Bosley, but missions never go quite suavely enough to ask her out afterwards. Not that Bosley would ever go out with an employee, but Agent Valero gets through long stake-out nights on missions imagining just that. Little does she know that Bosley might share her predicament.)

Do I find an excuse to draw Cethleann whenever I can? Yes, yes I do. I had this idea from the start and idk if it makes sense looking at all the tech pieces but I tried my best! Hope you enjoy!
