her eyes sparkled in the shade

her face was glistening

like a sculpture at the d’Orsay

i passed her in a store

stepping out before i registered her

though she was priceless

i was drawn like a painter

to a flowering field

the wind called her outside

she was finally revealed

eternally pretty liked flowers that dried

she must have caught me in awe

or maybe she was looking too

when she shone at me, her light was all i saw

i burned and bloomed

she kept walking and i kept staring

she didn’t stop- she was swept in the smoke

but she did turn around and stirred the air

in my lungs but something else made me choke

maybe it was hello or an explanation of feelings

Remember Nick’s expression of joy and happiness when Tara and Darcy kissed at Harry’s party? That was a powerful scene, right? Two queer people being so happy when they felt like they “didn’t need to hide it so much” and were free to be themselves. Remember when Kit said in an interview how that was his genuine reaction, he wasn’t acting at that point?

Kit the person deserved that joy and happiness for himself. Kit deserved that feeling of freedom. Kit deserved better. 

You all took that from him. And you’re still not happy.
