Rue and Shasta daisies. Year three-ish for both and they’re claiming their turf.

The bird of paradise tree in the back is so thick with blooms I had to prop the branches up with a chair.

Huning Highland Scottish style ale from Thirsty Eye brewing on Broadway. One of the best I’ve had.

Saw this beaver in the irrigation canal on a walk through the Montaño bosque this evening.

Been playing with these little bird houses. They average about two inches tall. They’ve got a little loop at the top for hanging, and a hole in the bottom if people want to make them into a plant stake.

A couple of recent ceramics projects I was happy with. On the Om one, it’s hard to tell from the photo, but the image uses a gold glaze that is really striking with red glaze.

My two-year-old tiled countertop project is getting close to being finished. Got the black and brown grout in; tan and blue still to go. After that I’ll be pouring a self-leveling resin over the whole thing (because the tiles i made are far from level.)

Repainted some old faded garden sculptures. That green though — yeesh.
