first of all, steve obviously wears eddie’s vest in the upside down. he tries to give it back but eddie insists he keep it. he doesn’t wear it much but sometimes he’ll wake up in the middle of the night, shaken by some nightmare, and he’ll put it on and feel a little bit safer

robin always judges steve’s wardrobe but she’s also constantly stealing from it - mostly sweaters and button-ups that she leaves unbuttoned. steve complains loudly but he never actually asks for his clothes back

one summer day while they’re all hanging out, eddie complains about his hair sticking to his neck in the heat and nancy lends him her scrunchie. steve has to bite his tongue not to comment how cute he looks with it

nancy shows up at school one day randomly wearing eddie’s metallica t-shirt. she likes the way it makes everyone do a double take when they look at her, like they’re suddenly rethinking all their preconceived notions of her, so she keeps borrowing eddie’s band shirts after that. robin and steve are both wildly jealous

robin ends up offering nancy her fleetwood mac shirt - since she’s getting so into band memorabilia. nancy wears it to bed, which was not robin’s intention but when she quietly tells robin that it makes her sleep easier, robin has a mild aneurysm

steve and eddie don’t exactly wear the same size pants but steve has this pair of grey sweatpants that eddie commandeers to wear while they’re hanging out at steve’s. he doesn’t even ask and steve’s too busy having his brain melt out his ears to complain
