Ok i cant be the only one where Mina the Hollower keeps dropping WASD inputs right? She just randomly stops walking all the time and it makes combat impossible, not to even get me started on the Blaise-race or the bicycle parkours.

Thomas really be like: Felix apologised off screen, you should've inferred this. Lila figured got the Butterfly off-screen, She's a villain, didnt need explaining or establishing. Adrien's greatest desire turned into his worst fear entirely without establishment, Figure it out yourself. Adrien figured out Chat Blanc existed entirely off-screen? How? Doesnt matter. But anyway: The multiple explicit, on-screen uses of Yin-yang symbolism (including dotting the I in our logo) shouldnt be expected to mean anything, fans should never think about our IP at all because inference is not the same as authorial intent. And you cant expect implication to mean anything, only the lack of implication means things.
Oh right, how much you wanna bet that, if Adrien holds Maribug (on either side of the mask) accountible, that too happens Off-screen?
I feel like 80 days could be "Dracula Daily"-able with relatively few issues. Its certainly one of the stronger contestants... You would have to take care to double-check Philleas' math though, cause he ends up being a day off, cause he's traveling towards the sun. So his count is off by 1 in the end. Also there are some times when crossing an ocean where a week is covered in one sentence, which could be hard to date.
Oh right, i bought Mina the Hollower before i went on vacay. Thank you past me, you might not've known i'd get travel sickness, but you've really gotten me covered on the "cant leave the house" front.

I have known the Mithradates Goober Gremlin for less then a day, and i already know that if anything happens to her I will rage.
Just checking. But could someone who knows better confirm/deny
Despite the different title-style and the latter looking more like it should be a visual novel... the webstore is saying both of these are the English Translated Manga Versions of their respective books? Is that right? Worst part is that the former also says manga in the title of the pick, while the latter just contrasts with another version that says "Visual novel" in the name, but doesnt specify Manga.
Well go on... Give me the news...
on the bus home now,
80 days ran out. Final twist predictable, but the "this book is a classic that influenced an entire public domains-length of later writers" predictable. Cant be held against it.
Was suprised that she got to wield a gun, abd be more then just a damsel on the train. But not suprised at the problematic native Americn portrayal.
Plan b book was the first volume of "apothecary diaries" (look, they didnt have a large english selection in BCN airport).
I dont understand how her wage goes to the people who sold her... "sold" kind of implies a severed connection. The extremely early introduction of the concept of Panacea as a goal is slightly worrying. As is the decision to follow a love potion/aphrodesiac" story without one ending in a splash panel wondering if its possible to turn love itself into some kind of potion. (If she ends up saying love is panacea, i am gonna barf).
Complements to the artist, i found it shocking easy to adapt to the japanese backwards panel lay-out (always a struggle) and i loved the little dance.
"This is the extremely potent lovepoison" she says. Holding a tiny pellet.
"What's with the Big Fucking Loaf then?"
"Midnight snack" hilarious.
Turned out, they changed the schedule 2 months ago and i hadnt received the e-mail. They're not playing Scheherezade. Haydin, Bach and once more Haydin.
They said i'll probably get tickets comped for it. Which is a relief at least...
Was a great performance, don't get me wrong. But not the one i booked booked an entire vacation around.
Gotta hand it to Fate, or whomever runs my life though. Making me lose my copy of 1001 nights before i left on my trip, was an excellent bit of foreshadowing.

Spend over an hour trying to find a new suitcase (still have the old one, dont worry. But its a loaner and i want an owner), running shop to shop cause i just knew in my gut the sizes were off.
Finally found a hardwarestore and bought a tapemeasure.
They are all off. 20 cm thickness for overhead carry-on, and they were all 21 through 22.5 (mist were 20 at the corners, but they were all concex and im not taking chances).
Finally found one that shouldnt get me a fine. Taking a break, concert in an hour 40 min. Hope it was worth the trip.
Second stop of the day: Barcelona zoo.
Half the enclosures under construction, but nice to see the trees marked with signs and trivia too.
first stop of the day: Picasso museum
Progressing through his career one room at a time, watching ghe feature become more abstract, is what i inagine it be like walking through the brain of al Alzheimers patient, who can no longer recognise his daughters face. Or anyone's face for that matter
The music on the audioguide at the room dedicated to "else colomins" is great.
At the "las meninas" exhibition, the focus is on contrast with Velázquez's original version. Which doesnt really work as its far less known. A picture of the original with which it is conversing, would help explain this dialogue.
Hope the giftshop has pidgeons.
End of day 2...
Gonna have to stop reading 80 days soon, already halfway through and i cant risk running out of pages on a 2 hour flight. Should probably be something English in the BCN airport bookstore, but also cant remember seeing anything English at AMS so i dont want to risk it.
Hop on/off tour was dissapointing 2 hours.
Park guell was... interesting, but in a weird way. A lot of it the stuff just kind of "was there"? A failed attempt at a gated community thst never even reached the customer stage.
Dont get me wrong the filtration in the pillars for the cistern (or did the guide say system? Accents...,) is an impressive double-use. But aside the strange choice to mic gargoyles with columns, it all felt kind of bleh.
Guess thats the thing with experimental projects, not all experiments are a success.
Liked the salamander though. Got him as some hairclips. Coolest emergency overflow valve i've ever seen.
Sagrada is an ugly thing tbh. Looks big and imposing sure, but its iconograohy is cluttered, the symbolic equivalent of clinkling keychsins to entertain a toddler.
Saw more beauty on the parkbench behind it, then i did at that Tower of Babel looking thing. Phone started to run out of batterijen before my tineslot though, so i went back to the accomodations.
Liking the book though. Strange how old timey folks prefered to describe, rather then transcribe conversations. Seems easier to right, but does create a vexing sense of vague imperaonality.
Chapter 15: where a crime punished with a fine, is just a permit with a price

Never seen a couch with a drain before. Smart, wonder why we dont do that wih garden funiture today.
Tour guide at parc guell just called the Sagrada Familia a "Christian temple". And i love yhe inversion. (Not subversion, the neutral "house of worship" would be)
