I just received word from him today that he has less than a month to pay his mortgage company $10,000. Him and his wife both have jobs, he owns a screen printing business, works for his father from time to time, and she works at a salon. They have two children together and I do not want to see them lose their house and live on the streets. I have helped them as much as I can, but I struggle to get by myself. I lost my wife last year and they helped me out a lot. I found out I was denied the life insurance I was suppose to get which I could have helped them out with it. They have been my friends since high school and have stuck by my side through thick and thin. I've witnessed my friend help the homeless by giving them food and drink while riding with him to pick up his children from school. I'm not good at typing or writing things like this out, but it would mean so much to me and my best friends family to know they have a chance of keeping a roof over their heads.
