I liked Star Wars since I was a tween thanks to my parents showing me the original trilogy.

I have always been very normal about Biggs Darklighter. He might be too famous to be an actual glup shittos but he is my “minor character that I latched onto as a kid and will not stop thinking about” character.

I kinda fell out of Star Wars after Rise of Skywalker came out, not because I don’t like the sequels, but more because of fandom toxicity and moving onto other things during the pandemic (the other things were kpop) but I was 17 when Rise came out and I last marathoned the Star Wars films. I’ve been rewatching the movies and I haven’t seen any of the shows but plan to rectify that. Specifically TCW, Mandolorean, Andor, and Kenobi are the shows I am most interested in.

I am a sequel enjoyer and also a prequel enjoyer, nowadays probably prequels more than sequels although it’s been a hot minute since I saw the sequels. I think both trilogies and even the original trilogy have a lot of flaws (minus empire strikes back and revenge of the Sith which are two films I consider near flawless) but I like what I like. Also, I’m not a film buff or critic and I don’t claim to be objective, again, I like what I like.

My mom created an OC for me when I was 13ish, Prisa Darklighter, who is the younger sister of Biggs. I have revived this character and am working on a long form Star Wars fanfic called Space Dust. I’ll post ramblings and behind the scenes stuff here. My ao3 is RiahWrites02 and that and other Star Wars fics will be posted there.

My knowledge of legends material comes from x-wings fanfics and my knowledge of canon non film material isn’t much. I’d love to branch out into comics and books when I’m done with all the shows and whatnot as well. My own fanfic will pretty much take a few things from both canons and the rest is original and only follows film canon. Making my own legends basically like what happens between the films is a what if scenario, what if Biggs had a sister and all this stuff happened?

My favorite SW character is Obi Wan. Also Luke. A hypothetical top 10 would contain the following: Luke, Obi Wan, Anakin, Qui Gon, Rey, Jin, Biggs, Han, Leia, Lando. No particular order minus the top 2 being Obi Wan and Luke. Other characters I like are Lando, Wedge, Palpatine (I mean I hate him but he’s a good villain), Bail, Shmi, Poe, Yoda, Windu, Krennic (again love to hate), K2-SO, Tarkan (love to hate), R2-D2, Qi’ra, Kylo Ren, Padme, Chirrut, and of course, the unforgettable Willrow Hood.

My favorite relationships/pairings would be RebelCaptain (Jyn x Cassian), Skylighter (Luke x Biggs), HanLeia, HanQira, HanLando (I like most Han ships), WedgeLuke, Anidala, Obidala, I also like all Finn ships but FinnPoe is my fav, I kinda like Reylo but more with Ben Solo than Kylo and I wish we got more of Ben Solo as Ben Solo if you feel me. I’m not a huge shipper but Skylighter doomed yaoi has grabbed me by the throat. I also kinda headcanon some Star Wars characters a certain way like I have asexual headcanons and whatnot because it’s fun but I am in no way trying to say it’s canon or force anyone to agree. In fact I welcome other headcanons! Same with neurodivergent headcanons and whatnot!

My main thing is just be respectful. I don’t tolerate hate or bigotry. Your tired arguments bore me. You don’t have to like things I like but if I see the same sequel hate dead horses being beaten I will just ignore you or block you from commenting. Like again it’s ok to dislike and criticize them or whatever else! It’s just more some types of people (grifters) are annoying about it. But like the respect thing applies to real life too like l respecting people’s headcanons and whatnot if it’s based on their own stuff. I have autism and ADHD and have a lot of headcanons. Anyway, yeah!
