She became friends with my other furry characters after a wrong number text from one of them, enjoying having people in her life who didn’t know she was a movie star and weren’t just around her because of that. After she revealed who she was to them, she eventually even worked on a few movies in their town so she can hang out with them. Of course, being the size of a kaiju, she has to rely on her friends finding ways to help her shrink down to their size if she ever wants to sneak off the movie lot.

I don’t talk about it a ton but I LOVE ghostbusters, so here’s a shot of stay puft rampaging inspired by the afterlife fright features figure!

She grew up on a boardwalk, and with no friends, she found solace in an old arcade. As the years went on and the machines broke down, amity learned how to sneak in and repair them herself so the arcade owner wouldn’t need to budget for it and the place could keep running. Now in her new home, an abandoned arcade has become her domain, where she repairs and maintains the old cabinets and is always willing to give people a place when they don’t have anywhere else to go. As long as you keep her rules in mind, that is. I mean come on, how hard is it to not leave open soda cans on the machines!

In “Chaos Systems”, interns Matt and Kayla (hazmatt & mech-kayla) try to make sense of the wild and chaotic science happening at chaos system labs, where monsters, robots, and mad science collide to “embrace the chaos to shape the future”, as their mysterious founder used to say. The pair would use real life science to teach kids about chemicals, coding, engineering, and other scientific concepts as they face their challenge of the week, and every episode would end with ideas for experiments based around the episodes concept that could be done using LEGO bricks! This could create a series that’s fun for kids and useful for classrooms to center lessons around!

Doing some board tests for the lego clash pilot episode, this scene has wrecked seeing the trashed state the local museum let his mech and old gear deteriorate into, and get mad enough about it to come out of retirement as a supervillain again. It’s not done yet, ofc, but it’s great to finally get some work done on the actual animatic

Various concept sketches for “Lego clash”, an original Lego theme centered around a world where everyone has superpowers and life is in total chaos every day! These sketches were focused on nailing down the shape language and a few ideas like Smokebomb’s smoke hand power, rottwood’s monster form, and how stormy knight’s ghost form would be “tethered” to knight guard’s sword.
