Hello, I am Raghad, a third-year medical student in Gaza. I created this link some time ago to help us during the genocide, but I didn't have the means to publish it. My family and I are suffering. We lost our home and everything we own. They took our land from us. We cannot return. We are stuck in the central governorates, in tents. The war has ended, but we are still in displacement tents. What injustice! My family and I have suffered for two years from death, injustice, and oppression. We have seen our loved ones killed, their limbs amputated, and burned inside their tents. We have also seen them die of hunger! We have seen all forms of death: bombing, displacement, Rape and robbery, hunger, thirst, cold, heat, diseases, pollution, lack of privacy, depression , panic attackz and lack of the most basic necessities of life!We miraculously survived. We've been displaced more than 11 times. Life has given us a second chance. Can you help us with it? We want to build a decent life, rent a house, have daily food, and clean water. Is that too much to ask? Me and my younger siblings? We want our most basic rights!Help us obtain the most basic necessities of life after they have been taken from us for all these years. Help us build a dignified life that every human being on this earth deserves.

I do not want the next victim to be my only brother or one of my sisters, please! 💔10 pounds may not be something important to you, but it may save the lives of entire families somewhere. Do not hesitate to help, even if it is a little!!
Hello everyone,
I am Raghad Qanou, a second-year human medicine s… Abdel Douglas needs your support for Support the QANOU Family's Journey
This is my brother Muhammad, my only brother The most important person to me in my entire life!
Before the war!!
These are some of my brother's pictures before the war. He is happy, full of energy, goes to school, and goes swimming. He lives his childhood in all its details. He has his house and his comfortable bed. He has his friends. He has a barber. He was martyred at the beginning of the war, and my brother still cries for him to this day!!]. My brother is a gentle person, very shy, and his heart is pure. He always embraces me and kisses me and comforts me. He is very smart and feels for others. I will never forget how he used to enter my room and see me stressed out because of studying medicine. He prepares my favorite salad dish, gives it to me with a kiss, and then stays by my side to make me feel comfortable. Ahhh, I love this boy so much!!
But unfortunately my heart breaks for him now. This bright, smart and spoiled child is now in shock, terror, fear, homelessness and displacement. He is very sick. He has contracted hepatitis. He is crying in pain. He stays in my lap and asks me to try snap filters on him so that he can... He has a little fun, because there is no other way to have fun. He does not play, he does not go anywhere, he has no companions. He misses his friends and playing together in the garden of our house. He is stray most of the time. He does not have coordinated clothes, but clothes we found used and bought . He cries because he does not want to die and he does not want anyone to die. He cries for his haircut, what about a member of his family or a friend? His little heart will not bear it, nor will his heart bear what is happening now. They have robbed my little one of his childhood. He is devastated. The pictures do not show any real suffering. How can my heart bear seeing my little angel in bed suffering only from hunger or pollution? Or from fear and panic from the bombing, or from accumulated psychological trauma?
My heart breaks for me, for him and for my 4 younger sisters so much. There is no other way. I only have this link to help my family, to try to save what is left of them from this slow and exhausting death. Please, imagine him as your little brother. Would you be satisfied with him living and remaining in this harsh situation? You are our only hope, and this link is our only hope,
10£ may not be important to you, but it may save the life of an entire family so do not hesitate!!
Thank you for reading, have a nice day!
Hello everyone,

Hello, I am a human medicine student from Gaza City. I am asking you for urgent help in publishing the link for my family and delivering it to people interested and able to help us. I did not want to do that, but the tragic situation we are living in is what made me have to do this. I feel sad and helpless, after we had Everything, we are now homeless on the streets, we live in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, filth and waste everywhere, we sleep on it! We suffer from terrible heat, insects and scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, and the danger of pollution and terrible diseases.Especially digestive, respiratory and reproductive! My younger siblings are suffering and very sick. They are terrified of everything, especially scorpions and insects. My father and mother cannot bear it any longer. You have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this goes away in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age you should To rest in it, you are forced to start over !!? , but the most important thing now is to try to stay alive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us! I ask anyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put himself in our place. How can a person who has lived with dignity all his life accept this? We are dying slowly every day. Please, if anyone can help, even if just a little, do not delay! Your little means a lot to us!

This is my art, by the way, I'm trying to escape the destruction that's happening, with art
Drawing titled, Waiting for a ceasefire !!💔
Publishing this ask now, I am SO sorry for what you are being forced to endure right now. BEAUTIFUL art, incredible work.
PLEASE if ANYONE can spare ANY AMOUNT, please consider donating to Raghad Qanou.
She is a medical student from Gaza, and her family is living in absolute HELL right now. While she was able to make it to Egypt on a medical scholarship, her family was not so lucky. She is sucking up her pride to ask for help, in order to save her family. PLEASE consider donating.
She, too, is from Shujaiya, which has been destroyed by the IDF in a matter of 8 months, and is still being heavily targeted.
She and her 8 family members are now in Rafah, where each day is a struggle to stay alive. Procuring their most basic needs, such as fresh water, food, medicine, hygiene items such as soap, toilet paper, and diapers, is a daily battle. Things like privacy and mental health are not even able to be considered. Their resources are growing ever more scarce, shelters are growing ever more crowded, and disease and famine are at an all time high.
I cannot imagine the absolute terror that Raghad must be feeling for her family right now. As all she can do is watch, helplessly, and wait for donations.
PLEASE consider donating. if you can't, PLEASE share/reblog.
This is the way we have cooked in Gaza, for more than 230 days, on firewood, which has become like a rare currency these days, because people do not use anything else. We have returned to the Stone Age and primitive methods, not only in eating, but in all aspects of life, and you cannot imagine how bad it is. The place we live in is not polluted, imagine cooking your food over waste, sewage, and waste??!!!! You can imagine the lives of people without fuel, electricity, cooking gas, clean water, or even healthy food. It is a nightmare. We are all suffering because of this life that we are forced to live. We are all sick, suffering from hepatitis and many respiratory diseases because of firewood and fire everywhere, and of course. Because of the bombing, chemicals and internationally banned phosphorus, you can alleviate our suffering with our help and give us hope to live again:
the tag is starting to get kinda crowded (great problem, dw). i just thought compiling them all here would make things easier for everyone to find!
all of the art displayed below is free to use for the purposes of promoting vetted gfm's here on tumblr. no credit is needed unless specified (marked = ***).
if you have any questions regarding how to craft a post using any of the art provided -> please do not hesitate to reach out to me!
note: please press follow post as i will most likely need to update this masterlist from time to time.
some info is below the cut on how to best utilize this material. please read it in its entirety before using any artwork. thank you 🖤

---
this project has gained a lot of momentum and has shown very promising results. the level of engagement once art is attached to a vetted gfm increases significantly. you will see what i mean as i have linked example posts of how to best use these pieces to help families in need.
i currently have a list of over 20+ families that i am spotlighting in my own personal progress tracker (the list has gotten so long that i now need to make a second version to accommodate all the families trying to get in contact with me).
this art campaign boost is truly meant to be utilized by anyone. i would sincerely appreciate it if y'all could take some time and pick maybe 1-2 people from this list and use the art below to create your own signal boost posts on the families' behalf. as someone who is periodically tracking their progress- i know that donation rates have slowed for a number of them. i am one person and can only do so much on my own. the essence of this initiative is to get more people to mobilize as a collective. it will take everyone to get on board in order for these families to be able to reach their goals. that means spotlighting their accounts/campaigns periodically.
you need to keep up the momentum.
the individuals you are helping currently live in areas with minimal internet connection, meaning it is very difficult to spotlight themselves on their own. especially since this site is continuously suppressing/deleting their accounts. they need you to interact with their content.
tumblr isn't like other social media sites. it's known for being very 'anti-algorithm' and it's common culture for many of us to not really care about our levels of engagement (i.e. follower count/amount of notes per post). it's very hard for your own content to "break" your inner circle of followers and gain traction if the topic of the post is not "popular" or "trending"
these families are not operating on this site the same way you are. you may be using this platform as a means to "just vibe" but they are using it as a desperate attempt to raise essential funding to save their lives. the importance that their posts be elevated cannot be overstated. anyone who has ever created any sort of og content here knows how quickly a post can die out if no one interacts with it. this cannot happen with them.
tips for making your own signal boost post* (*for vetted campaigns):
-> make it easy to read + eye-catching: the problem i am seeing when you search many of these families' accounts is that their "tag" (username of their account) is full of the same types of posts (i.e. a generic response to their initial message to another person on tumblr) <- aka it is very easy for people to tune out which is the opposite of what we want to happen.
creating your OWN posts in response to their asks allows the art to appear FIRST when people look up someone's account via tumblr's search bar, which will attract more attention to their accounts. it also forces people who are making these posts to actually sit down and read the stories they are sharing with the rest of their mutuals/lurkers alike
-> include verification sources: the main reason people are searching for these accounts is b/c they are trying to see if it is okay to reblog/share their campaign with their own following. if you address this plainly and early on in your post that includes artwork -> people are more likely to interact
-> tag the account you are promoting: please include the families' account as one of your #'s so it will appear when you search for their names on tumblr. also try @'ing their account in your post so it'll be easier for these families to find your work. some of them are incredibly new to the platform and may not be aware of all its features. something that you may find intuitive may not be as easily understood for these individuals. your role is to make them as easy as possible to find for others so they can gain more support.
---
don't have time to type out a whole post for a family on their behalf? -> interact with one of theirs!
attach something nice/helpful to their posts so it is more readily available for others to share. the same rules apply from above. as i said before, some of these accounts are brand spanking new and are not formatted in the same ways as others that may be more well-versed on how tumblr operates in terms of promoting their campaigns.
(for example: even if the account has been vetted/verified by multiple trusted individuals- the owners of that account may not know to include that info in their posts about their campaign every single time they post. you can make their lives easier by including that info for them by reblogging one of their og posts and adding the necessary info on their behalf)
you can also find a more comprehensive list of vetted campaigns by el-shab-hussein/nabulsi here <- their list is now over 200+ with several campaigns that are "in the red" (very low in funding). please do not hesitate to try to spotlight anyone from this list as well!
el-shab-hussein also has a masterpost pinned here with additional campaigns (including those for other countries like sudan)
alright i've explained enough- time for the art!

10 pounds may not be something important to you, but it may save the lives of entire families somewhere. Do not hesitate to help, even if it is a little!!
Sorry for the ugliness of the view, or should I be the one sorry or the occupation? Of course, dear reader, you could not bear the ugliness of the scene, but what should I and my family say? We have been here since the third of December,
Note, the iron thing in the picture in the back is the primitive oven in which we bake our daily bread using firewood and plastic. CAN YOU IMAGINE ????!!!!!!! Is your food covered in sewage, urine and feces? Sorry for the words but this is crazy, I'm going to lose my mind!
We have been here since the third of December,in addition to the filth and waste, it explodes daily due to the presence of 30,000 thousand displaced people. It explodes and the place here is flooded with filth, sewage and dirt. It is definitely a hotbed of diseases. Why do I and my family have to live, sleep, eat and cook here?????? Do you see this little threshold? A few centimeters that separate us and it's not enough, a lot of insects and worms,If you go out with your shoes, they will get dirty and dirt will enter inside. We are inevitably stuck in dirt. Is there a decent person who would be satisfied with a life like this? I am tired. We are all exhausted by the disease. Everyone is here with yellow eyes and epidemic hepatitis. Everyone is like a zombie because of this tragic and inhuman situation in which we live. My family does not leave the bed due to the severity of illness and fatigue. [is there a bed? Of course NO, we sleep on the floor, specifically on dirt, but unfortunately we have begun... We get used to the tent like a house and we use its terminology. This habit and habituation is killing me. I cannot accept and do not want anyone to accept the humiliation we are experiencing Or try to beautify it in any way.]
If you would like to help even a little for my family, please do not hesitate for a moment. It is an unbearable situation. Our lives have been destroyed. Or you can help spread the link to our family to someone who might be able to help. Thank you for reading. Have a good day. At least someone should be happy today.

Hey guys, I want to spotlight another fundraiser that was verified by my friend Nairuz. This one belongs to Raghad Qanou, whom you can reach at @rhq274. They are 8 family members, 6 of them children, who've lived displacement after displacement. Because of the lack of sewage treatment after the zionists' mass destruction of all infrastructure in Ghazzah, the few available measures to maintain hygiene are not enough to protect from hepatitis epidemics. The children are at serious risk. Survival is difficult.
