donāt care + didnāt ask + blood of akasha in me
Is there an object you are exceptionally attached to?
āMy piano, to name one. It was a gift.ā
"... Is this the piano that is currently in the castle?"
āWhy, yes, dearest. Why do you ask?ā
She shook her head lightly, a smile playing on her lips "Ah, nothing of importance. I had heard from Everard that it was a gift from him to Benedict. I know he enjoys keeping me on my toes, but I didn't believe he was lying about this"
āNor would you have any reason to, considering the nonsense in lying about such a thing.ā And to what end, he wonders. But then Rhoshamandes scoffs lightly, eyes rolling in mild acid mirth. āMy piano was a gift from Benedict. He, despite being rather skilled a player, hardly ever touches it. He much prefers to appreciate my performance as a spectator, instead. He would have no use for a piano of his own.ā
"Of course... I know Everard also plays, did you teach him? How come all three of you play and I have never heard anyone use that piano? I almost thought it was decorative" she giggled softly, approaching Rhoshamandes "Perhaps Everard wishes it had been his idea to gift you the pianoā he amuses himself with his lies, but every good lie has a bit of truth hiding in it"
āNot entirely. I demand discipline in my students, and Everard takes pleasure in displaying defiance, as I am certain you know.ā The corner of his lips crooks subtly at the melodious sound of Biancaās chuckle, the back of his digits brushing softly at the delicate curve of her porcelain skin. āI shall play it for you next time you visit, if thatās something you desire. However, you must understand that even my focus has its limits in the company of a most beguiling presence such as yours, tesoro mio.ā At Biancaās assumption, his demeanor eases into something akin to his usual, unfazed expression, if not for the everlasting warmth in his grey-blue eyes as they gazed at her with tender adoration. āThat sounds quite plausible, in fact. And rather fitting for Everard and his ways. Yet, it does not excuse his poor attempt at deception. I will be certain to inquire him about it at our next encounter.ā
Have you found happiness?
āHappiness is not something which you find once and bask in its graces for eternity, and to believe so is a foolās errand. Genuine contentment requires effort, action and commitment, like anything worth pursuing. I chase satisfaction at every waking moment.ā

Apart from Akasha, has there ever been a vampire that hurt you?
āI assume you mean physically. If so, no. Despite feeble attempts, not many possess the guts or the strength to succeed.ā

Head canon + touch
ooc. needless to say rhosh is very physical and intense, so he quite literally could never be with someone who doesnāt want to be touched (unless itās part of some kink if you catch my drift). itās how he displays his affections, as vocalizing them is quite the rare treat reserved to those he truly adores. besides, heās always been the sort of show not tell kinda person. and when he loves someone, no touch is meaningless, each conveys something that will be up to the receiver to translate. as for the others who donāt fall in the adored/loved category, well, those he are not very keen to touch much of at all. not even a handshake whatsoever. it becomes no contact zone because my man is a man of extremes in most if not all aspects.
I love Rhosh. Your portrayal had him hopping right out of the book for me. Sarcasm, annoyance, the soft moments with Benedict are all amazing. Even the interactions with other fledglings of his. He's a hard character to get, and you got him. "Villain" and morally out of the box characters are hard to write withoht the mun =/= muse mentality but it's not hard to separate the two. He needed a wrangler and here you are! You don't try to keep him tame. You let him be expressed and that's so beautiful.
ooc. gosh thatās always the sweetest complimentš„ŗ thank you so much!! admittedly i think my biggest challenge with him is writing in a way that feels accurate to his age (5000yo to cover is def a bit daunting at times) but iām also lucky to have such cool writing partners that let me explore different facades of him, in diff environments and ages even!! and in contrast, writing him being unhinged is also where i have the most fun since his excessive power does give me a lot of liberty and works as a wonderful backup to his overbearing, god-complexed personality teehee!! (no i canāt take compliments without going on a ramble itās my toxic traitš)
thank you again for your super nice words, it makes me genuinely super happy to know my portrayal of him is appreciated like thatš„ŗš©·

People have already said so much that I agree with, so just a short note of appreciation: I love the humour that you bring into writing him, even if sometimes it just comes out in the tags.
ooc. that you took a moment on your day to send this already means a lot!! and thank youš„¹ gjsjjs i wish heād bring more humor to the table himself but his sense of it is pretty acid and flat most of the time!! so i enjoy adding the stuff he wonāt mention (and in ways that heād never ever do it) in the tags for clarity purposes at times so iām glad they can be amusing<3
It is admirable how consistent you are in writing and expressing his god complex. To sit so comfortably with a character that could easily have the whole world against him, but because you are not scared to show his softer side to, it makes him wildly appealing and interesting. And for that softness to have to be earned and for it to be selective it gets easily so deliciously wicked. The best villains don't see themselves as villains and you write that só well. Your Rhosh is magnetic and terrifying and beautiful and insufferable all at once and I LOVE IT.
(didn't want to do this on Anon because you're my friend and I love you. PEACE! āļø)
ooc. jess youāre always the sweetestš„ŗ i appreciate your words so much, even more so as youāve seen my portrayal of rhosh being constructed from day one!! thank you so much for your kind words, your support and for writing w me for all those years<3 rhosh wouldnāt be rhosh without your eve (for better and/or worse ha!) i love you too!!<3
Your Rosh is spot on! I love the eloquence of his phrasology, his saltiness, his idgaf attitude. I truly enjoy reading through my dash when he's around
ooc. thank you so much!! knowing that heās appreciated despite his difficult character makes me so happy<3 heās usually not the kinda character i tend to write so having the opportunity of making him extra annoying is quite cathartic ehehe
Anonymously send me your favorite detail about how I play my character.
I will publish and respond OOC.

Would you have accepted an offer to rule the Children of Darkness?
āNo. The mere suggestion is odious.ā He scoffs with no humor. āI am the subjugator, not the subjugated.ā
Headcanon + driving
ooc. he enjoys driving even if itās not a need (thank you cloud gift!) and heās pretty good at it. but itās something he does more often when he intends to actually mingle with mortals in an event of some sort, not only just to hunt. he does have a collection of vintage & sports cars, all in black, though the big majority is there for decor and style alone, and not for driving purposes.
