Sonam Wangchuk is on a hunger strike. Who is he? He is our great scientist and education reformist, a man who has dedicated his life to bettering our country . He's the inspiration behind the iconic character in the movie Three Idiots, and his work has even earned him the Ramon Magsaysay Award, often called Asia's Nobel Prize . He is a true gem of India.

And why is he on this hunger strike? FOR US. For our education system. For the countless students whose futures are being destroyed. He is protesting the horrific deaths that happened after the NEET paper leak, where students who had worked their entire lives for a dream took their own lives when their results were cancelled due to the government's failure . He is standing up against a system that plays with the lives of millions . He is demanding accountability, demanding the resignation of the Education Minister, and demanding that the government stop treating the future of our youth as a joke.

So, i humble request ya'll, if you are in Delhi or you know someone who is in Delhi, please ask them to take out some time and join the protest at Jantar Mantar .Even an hour of support can make a difference. And if not, then please spread awareness on every social media about this and join the online protest. Post about it, use the hashtags, talk to your friends and family . Because at this time, even 1% matters, cus if Sonam sir can give his 100%,risking his life,then why can't we?.

it took me literally 5 hours for a 5 mark question. how lucky am i to be exhausted doing what i worked so hard to do

Feeling like an actual alien, xenobiologically, among your own species, because every time you have tried behaving honestly, of dropping the act, or removing the mask, you get some combination of oohs and ahhs that make no effort to understand what you are actually trying to communicate, and no effort to evaluate whatever contribution you are trying to make to any problem-solving, because they are too distracted by... I'm unsure, the novelty? Or on the flipside, the confusion devolves to aggression, and you are identified as the other, the not-human. One way or another, your peers behave as though they would like to vivisect you in a lab - to find out how the gears turn or to eliminate you as a problem, either or?

Because communicating your thoughts the way they actually form, untranslated, makes others uncomfortable, is disruptive and distracting, you hide it. You pretend that you make connections slower, and in a more predictable way than you really do, because you never claimed to be particularly intelligent, but when you observe something you store the information systematically, and so retrieval and synthesis is no issue, and if you have an answer so quickly it's suspicious at best. Yet if you hide yourself only partially, it comes off as pretentious, as someone who doesn't just know but needs you to know that they know. Hide it away completely then. Being told "play dumb" repeatedly your entire youth, only realizing later it was so many people's way of trying to tell you how to mask. It was confusing because there was not some imagined high intelligence to mask, just a very different processing map that could come to the same average conclusions as anyone else. But it's perceived as intellect over and over, and so the demands for savant-like output are made again and again.

All they can do is compare you to fictional characters. None of the characters are human. All of the characters are defined, at least in part, as being alone in the universe.

Double masking-inverse masking? Covering whatever you are up with labels of best-fit (fitting other people's perceptions of you, not fitting your actual experience from inside the skull). Autism. ADHD. Or, maybe, neuroplasticity; she must have had an injury as a child and this is how it adapted. There's no record of one and no evidence of damage but we just don't know enough about conciousness to explain it, and what does it matter? If we call her autistic, that settles the needs for everyone else. It's not important that the patient gets an answer, since there's nothing that needs fixing as long as she can act the part. Warn her that resources for autism won't fit, though. Always a note in the medical records next to the Dx.

Hide, deny, obsfucate the differences in the processes behind your eyes and act like you think the same way as everyone else. But feel so alone that you have never met another like yourself. Or have you? Maybe they felt the exact same way, during a conversation with you, while you hid. As far as they knew, they were the only one. Maybe this happens frequently. Maybe you'll drive yourself mad trying to identify it in others and you really are n=1.

You write a tumblr post you do not actually expect to be read through still in this translated voice, because any textual communication requires the convention inherently, and if you were to type a post the way you type your notes..
