When I submitted what became the title art for this story for the @dadstielminibang reverse bang, I had a few possible ideas to go with it—but I was mostly having fun with re-imagining a classical art piece by Sassoferrato to feature Castiel instead:

I had no way of knowing that Specificity would claim it and end up writing such an epic story to go with my idea! I'm truly honored that my art inspired this fic, and here is the one extra piece I had time to create for it before posting today:

Summary: Dean has plenty of mistaken beliefs about Witchers. But these rumours do not stop him from walking right into a monster-infested forest to save one when the opportunity arises.

After doing that, well, Dean can't seem to get rid of the guy. He now seems destined to meet Castiel, though he did wish one of them wasn't always bleeding when it happens. (He also, not so secretly wishes Castiel would fuck him one of these days)

That is when they realize they’ve been turned into anthropomorphic animals! Dean is a wolf and Cas is a bat. When Dean realizes this isn’t a bad LSD trip, they run into a pair of anthropomorphic hedgehogs. A bubbly and excitable blue hedgehog with crazy speed, and a moody black and red hedgehog with some pretty impressive powers.

Sonic the Hedgehog and his family take Dean and Cas in, helping them understand their own new powers and how to control them. When some strange activity starts happening at a local coffee shop, Dean and Cas get to repay the favor, and show Sonic and Friends their own Family Business.

Dean ends up learning far more than just how to run fast.
