my most delusion deltarune take is fully believing it will have a happy ending. my fun gang is breaking free from the prophecy and getting a big ol’ pie at the end!!!

the aborted weird route is in some ways worse than the weird route. like imagine being manipulated so intensely to do horrible things you would never normally do, only to be gaslit that none of it was all a dream. that would send me into a derealization spiral.

imagining a universe where kris and susie become best friends on their own and kris starts to feel like themselves for the first time in years and noelle is just. watching this all happen? with all complicated feelings of a girl whose sister is missing and the childhood friend she lost due to that shared baggage is suddenly doing fine. and as the cherry on top is also getting closer to her crush than she ever managed to.

the dynamic of kris, noelle, and susie deeply intrigues me. kris and noelle are childhood friends who drifted apart because of trauma and now have the (slightly petty) added pain of having the same crush. also the heartbreak of kris playing a losing game from the start because susie never gets to know the real them, only small glimpses. i love these tragic characters so much.

the transmasc experience of wanting to be perceived in a certain way by everyone except your own family. the idea of explaining anything to them makes me feel physically nauseous.

i’m so happy that ragatha’s va confirmed jax is trans, but it’s also so frustrating that it takes the cast spelling things out directly for people to acknowledge already very clearly delivered subtext.

remembering all the theories before the finale is so funny because some people were more convinced of jax hitting gangle with a truck than the possibility that she might, maybe, be transgender.

started a new deltarune save file on my switch and oh my lord the mechanics are soo much easier. i’ve been surviving playing on my pc since undertale when i could have been thriving with a controller-based system the entire time?!
