just to level-set here, I have exactly 0 interest in forcefem as a kink. even aside from being grey ace, it just doesn't appeal to me.

presumably, you got here because of the screenshot of Britt posting on kiwifarms. in that post, she's describing sissification, not forcefem. forcefem was almost singlehandedly popularized by isff, take a look at google search trends to understand just how new the term's popularity is:

sissification is, generally speaking, a kink that revolves around emasculating men and making them more "girly". this is regarded as inherently degrading, which is obviously misogynistic. it's also about men. "sissies" are men.

forcefem is a modern reclamation of the idea predicated on regarding the process as empowering, as opposed to be being degrading. the "force" in forcefem is often completely tongue-in-cheek but, even when it's not, it's not force as in "force them to do something they don't want to do". girls who get forcefemmed are not men.

if your friend was depressed and not able to make food for themself, you could call the process of making them food and insisting that they try to eat "forcefeeding". that's obviously a bit of a misnomer, but if you joked about force feeding your friend, nobody would accuse you of doing anything wrong. it certainly wouldn't be about kink, right?

I spent a year talking to my friend about starting HRT before eventually just hand-delivering a vial of estrogen to her, letting her do my injection as practice, and talking her through doing her own. she needed to be pushed to take that first step because she was scared. she could have done it on her own, all I did was make it easier by being insistent. a few weeks ago, she celebrated her first year of transition. I'm so, so proud of how far she's come, it's been a joy to see.

now, this can be sexual, of course, but that's true for literally everything. there's a lot more that can be said about that, starting with the fact that pre-transition women often have to occupy the role of A Man during sex, but I think we've answered your question by now.
