I can't that’s wild. I think Tobirama would would lose his mind in that moment.

he’d be both outraged and fascinated by the offer, like, “Are you seriously thinking I’m going to give it back??” And then he helplessly realizes that yes he actually would give it back.

and who knows maybe it’s because Izuna Uchiha just twisting him around his finger, or is it because of the village, or because trust has taken such deep root in his heart and that’s just how it should be.

and then!! that moment of seeing the world through the eyes of your (beloved) enemy.

Tobirama who says “Are you sure I’ll be able to activate the Sharingan? I don’t even understand how your damn technique works” and Izuna who looks at him very intently and says “Of course you will, Tobirama. If you were an Uchiha, you’d have had the mangekyo long ago. You’ve always had enough of everything for this.”

and Tobirama doesn’t understand what everything means until he activates the sharingan, and oh god. how much emotion this damn technique draws out, how it rips him wide open, forcing him to relive the sensations of the most terrible and the most beautiful moments of his life.

I think he and Izuna could have activated the mangekyo together at some point.

I think Tobirama would never have been able to look at Izuna the same way again after that.

I think they would only have talked about it many years later.

Izuna approached Tobirama and offered to let bygones be bygones aiming to get him to lower his guard and dispose of him/humiliate him/steal Senju secrets (or whatever he's bored) and Tobirama Knows it.

Tobirama: Izuna's goal every time we interact is to kill me. This is no different. But I can't reject him without jeopardizing our relationship with the Uchiha.

So they become "friends" and, after the second get together that Tobirama insisted took place on a VERY public location, Izuna realizes Tobirama is onto him. But he won't come clean, because that'll mean he'd lose, and he'd very much rather chew on his own eyeballs than concede a victory to Tobirama, so he goes full on Fake Bitch and tries to trick him into actually liking him.

Tobirama tries to avoid him afterwards because suddenly Izuna became more insufferable than usual but Hashirama is like noooo, you were making friends! Don't ghost your friend! Tobirama he might start thinking you hate him!

Tobirama does hate him, anija.

Madara thinks Izuna is in love with Tobirama because he suddenly got VERY intense about him, more than usual, and he's like no you can do so much better please. He goes to Hashirama and Hashi is fucking thrilled because they could unite their families, a marriage to settle our alliance. Let me ask Tobirama what he thinks about it.

And Tobirama thinks is a great fucking idea actually. There's no way Izuna will keep this up if there's marriage on the horizon.

He's wrong. Izuna DOES keep it up, and after he sees Tobirama's little smug smile thinking he played him, he gets so angry he starts laughing like a maniac. Sharingan activated and all. Once his deranged laugher dies down he smiles "oh I'm so happy, I'm the happiest man alive!"

Now they're engaged and both fucking panicking.

The thing is, Tobirama is a controlling little freak, so even if he DOESN'T want to do this, he takes control over wedding planning and becomes insufferable in turn, tracking Izuna down to berate him because he needs to do his part as well! This is a very sensitive political affair and it cannot go wrong and Izuna I'm a sensor I know you're inside that well, come out you're gonna dirty the water.

Izuna starts to believe he was successful in his plan and now Tobirama thinks Izuna is in love with him for real and that's the worst thing ever.

Tobirama starts to believe Izuna actually meant the initial friendship overtures but after Tobirama's constant avoidance he accepted the wedding to punish him and this might be Tobirama's fault actually.

They tell nobody about what's going on.

On the wedding day Izuna breaks and hisses "I poisoned the wine!" Which is a lie, and Tobirama knows it, and he slumps in relief because that means Izuna does not want to do this. Alas, Tobirama planned this wedding for weeks with little to no sleep and invited a lot of very important people. He's NOT letting Izuna ruin all his hard work, so he drinks anyway and says "no you didn't" Izuna's eye twitch and drinks as well and now they're married.

Tobirama invents divorce a week later but they still keep on being roommates because it'd be humiliating if the other got the house in the divorce. They keep playing the friend chicken game for years to come, and build a life around the other. Izuna because eventually he starts to like Tobirama and decided to be merciful and never tell him about how this started so he could... He doesn't even remember what, kill him? Expose his fake ass? Unimportant (he still thinks Tobirama thinks Izuna meant to become friends at the beginning). Tobirama is like, I'm doing the world a favor by keeping him contained and also after so long Izuna's presence doesn't feel intrusive anymore and it's somewhat enjoyable (he likes him as well but he's never had a friend before)

Since Tobirama has no clue how normal friendships work, he follows Izuna's lead. Thing is, Izuna's naturally inclined to match anybody's freak so they actually end up following Tobirama's lead on it. And it gets. Weird.

Tobirama: hey if in tomorrow's mission you come across some enemies can you bring me a couple alive. I have a new idea I want to try

Izuna: no problem. Any specifics?

Tobirama: an earth affinity would be optimal. But if not, anything is fine.

Izuna: you got it.

Hashirama, Mito & Madara, who were having dinner with them:...

Izuna: hey when I die bring me back so I can kill whoever killed me.

Tobirama: if

Izuna: what

Tobirama: If you die. I'm about to reach a breakthrough on immortalily. You'll die when I let you.

Izuna is very touched.

the answer is "yes"

Headcanon where Hashirama is excellent at healing, it is almost thoughtless, vibing action for him to apply hands and heal. He is perhaps not the most efficient, but when he has as massive of chakra reserve as he does, it just doesn't matter.

Tobirama, ever the exacting scientist, overthinks and micromanages every physiological process he is aware of at the time. Because medical knowledge is not as advanced as it will become, there are knowledge gaps and thus his healing is imperfect yet passable patch jobs. He is also mentally exhausted from the amount of fine control this requires, because, again, the micromanaging.

Tsunade comes around with greater medical knowledge and thus improves efficiency and procedure of healing.

Then Sakura, who is the best of all worlds (despite canonically lower chakra reserve), equipped with medical advancements in knowledge and technology of the modern era plus excellent chakra control means that, though she could not have gone this far without standing on the shoulders of her predecessors (as anyone does in modern technology), has perfected iryojutsu.

Cole has always feared things that are strange or uncommon, take dragons and the serpentine as an example. This probably stems from many different aspects of his character and his story.

His element is one, in which it the most unchanging out of all the elements combined. Any form of change Earth, or rock, goes through naturally takes many years to ever even complete. Change and the unknown go hand in hand, because we never truly know how we can be affected by changes both small and big, nor do we know the impact of it years later. Many people naturally fear change, and in response, fear things they find unnatural, uncommon, or strange. Cole is seemingly no exception as he actively fears things that can only be classified as all three. The Earth and rocks takes years to have any noticeable differences or changes, all in order for things to go smoothly.

His past is likely the biggest driving factor for his fear of strange things, because Cole grew up in a home where everything was already decided for him. No bashing on Lou and his character btw, he definitely made a lot of mistakes that he had to fix, but thats not the point of the post. Lou grew Cole up in a home where everything was already set in stone and where Cole was very likely sheltered within. Whilst this pushed him into being reckless and finding himself after running away, it seems to have also affected the way he views things he has never seen and could never understand before.

Yes this is about Resurrected Morro.

Imagine the ninja, Lloyd and Kai and Nya and WU, expecting to face him again. A dangerous ninja who, whilst they assume could be on their side, was known to be a complete asshole.

Lo and behold, the guy who possessed and attacked them a few years ago? Yeah he’s shaking in his legs and doesn’t know how to talk anymore, he’s like a baby duckling. Lloyd gets a kick out of asking Morro if he needs help walking.

Why? Because he isn’t used to actually needing to move a physical weight to walk, and he definitely isn’t used to moving his mouth and making noise to actually talk. He is more than mad, and no amount of guilt or regret of the past will stop him from being irritated. Wu is definitely having fun spending time teaching him all these things, so thats a positive, to most.

Hiruzen: Minato can bypass your seals?

Tobirama: No, I deactivated them before he killed himself. He's brilliant though, I'd take him in as a student but he creeps me out. Anyways, you haven't visited me in three months. When I was Hokage—

Hiruzen: —not again—

Tobirama: —i had enough time to train two teams, babysit Tsuna, and lead Anbu. You gave Anbu to Danzo, and only manage the village. I bet Asuma doesn't even remember my face,

Hiruzen: Sensei—

Tobirama: Why can't you be more like Kagami? We have lunch every week, his children come to visit everyday after the academy ends, he doesn't have two creeps as students—

Hiruzen: Tsunade is addicted to gambling

He really was given the fridged female character treatment. Bet if we let Madara have some flashbacks of him, it's gonna be Izuna smiling in the middle of a field under the blue sky or some lame shit like that.

I've decided to take it in the sense that he naturally, unconsciously matches the freak of whoever's closest. Amazing improv skills. He's got the ability to become whatever Madara needs of him. Madara remembers a devoted, serious, loving little brother. He looks back and sees a small Izuna following him around like a duckling, a teen Izuna getting into mischief (when Madara needed some relief after abruptly becoming clan head). An adult Izuna, always looking ahead, staunch in his beliefs, never faltering when Madara did.

Tobirama remembers a fucking beast. An all around deranged dude. Tobirama, Senju heir and sometimes necromancer, needed someone that made him look sane in comparison and Izuna delivered.
