what's funniest to me is that marinette is writing up security protocols in the thousands for keeping her identity safe but still has people figuring it out left and right, all the while adrien literally voice acted as himself for the in-universe miraculous movie and nobody even cares

This but they still don’t know each others identities so Marinette fully believes she is dating Chat Noir and Adrien and vice versa.

And the entire plot is just the two doofuses attempting to not reveal that they are actually half of the polycule.

Bonus points if Alya, Nino, Kagami, and Felix all figure out both identities and think it is some elaborate scheme to forestall their identities, leading to the reveal.

can. can we like both of them????? like marinette isnt doing a great thing yeah, but i can understand her reasoning and logic (again, even if its wrong) and alya is just telling her best friend to not lie to her or her boyfriend (or the whole world) ofc shes going to be hurt especially about something so big when they promised to not have secrets anymore
