After some title cards you are prompted to create or load a profile. On the main menu you are can select from “Multiplayer” and “Options”. “Multiplayer” gives you the options for “Ad Hoc” and “Infrastructure”. Unsurprisingly I was unable to find anyone to play in Ad Hoc mode and the “Universe Selection” screen of “Infrastructure” mode did not display any universes to connect to.

A screen is displayed with the following text “This disc is intended for Beta test only”. From the main menu you can select “Get Connected” or “Central station”.

“Get Connected” allows you to watch an installation video and create a network access file on your memory card.

“Central station” launches a web browser and tries to access http://eu.playstationtv.com. This site is however no longer available.

By going to “Advanced Setup” then “External Network Device Configuration” and entering an IP address for Google or any other website allows you to use this disc as a PS2 web browser.

After a few title cards the game freezes and you can see the text “This product is past its sell by date”. However if you set your PS2 clock to 2003 the game boots up and is playable.

From the menu you can select “Play Online” or “Play Offline”. “Play Offline” allows you to select from 5 levels, set a time limit, score limit and the number of bots. You can then select from 8 different vehicles. This mode is fully playable.

When selecting “Play Online” you are presented with an error message due to the game servers no longer running.

The text “BETA Version” is displayed in the top left corner of the title screen. The only options available on the main menu are “Create”, “Online” and “Options”.

“Create” allows you to customise the appearance, assign attributes and create move set for a wrestler which can then be saved to a memory card.
