You ever just stop to wonder... how in the actual fuck did Spec Ops: The Line get made? Seriously, at the absolute peak of the PS3, Xbox 360 Call of Duty clone shooter era, some mad bastards somehow managed to talk the risk averse, focus testing money men of the videogame industry into letting them make a game convincingly pretending to be a AAA military shooter that slowly reveals itself to be a borderline psychological horror that takes its own entire genre and rips it apart with a sincerely vicious contempt for everything it stands for and everyone who would enjoy it. Spec Ops: The Line is a full 6 hour videogame about how this game and every other one like it are morally reprehensible and completely irredeemable and you personally are a shitty person for playing them. How did that happen?! How did it get approved?! Did the people in charge even know what they were paying for?!
