I've tried various ways of cycling prog and all it did was make me forget to take my meds when it came time to start the on-cycle. obvs this is just anecdotal but for me it didn't do anything noticeable at all beyond giving me mood swings at the cycle switches. (I was taking 400mg on for two weeks / off for two weeks)

I have recruited a friend who is an industrial designer to work with me on creating a brand new, completely designed-in-house electrolysis device optimized for low cost, simplicity of use, and ease of manufacturing. we have some pretty ambitious ideas for the project and I'm REALLY excited to start moving on this.
