I don’t like Thornclaw very much I’m sorry… I think he’s boring at best and an insufferable ThunderClan nationalist at worst. I can see the plot you’re putting together for him but I can’t say he’s just someone he’s someone I’ve thought about a lot. All his siblings are more interesting than him and I strongly dislike his relationship with Blossomfall. I do think your points here make him more interesting and show how he becomes the cat he is but I can’t say it makes me like him per se lol

i think both are interesting characters independent of each other but i don't really care about their relationship. beyond it being weird that clear sky ended up with his son's crush. awk. i think star flower deserves good things so if she's happy with clear sky then good for her

i feel like i dont have very many creative headcanons, mostly just what other people say. watch the hawkfrost third planet animatic and i feel like that summarizes my core thoughts on him. i think he is extremely insecure/paranoid wrt his place in riverclan. he's treated as an outsider and is scared that if he can't claw his way to the top then he'll never have a promised spot in the clan. i think him making mothwing med cat is his twisted way of taking care of her similarly. if she's the med cat, she can't be kicked out. and of course, it's protection for himself. ive seen people headcanon him as a drypaw (bc of tadpole's death) which is interesting but i personally believe he learns to swim like as soon as humanly possible. he doesnt run away from things, he masters them. i also just extremely like hawkfrost just hearing so many horror stories about tigerstar and trying to reckon that with the wistful fondness in sasha's voice and desperately wanting to know the truth or just get the chance at all to know his father. and then he does meet his father and he has a chance to make him proud of him but it becomes so clear to him that tigerstar really wants brambleclaw and it just absolutely kills him + drives him to do what he does, also fueled by that paranoia that he's an outsider in riverclan and always will be. all of this makes so much sense to me but the erins would never know that

....okay i did completely forget about this. apparently they are half siblings according to the warriors wiki. which is so fucking lame. and 100% a retcon. also it genuinely just doesn't make any sense bc his littermate is tawnyspots? the guy who is a senior warrior in BP and becomes deputy? while thrushpelt is said to be the newest warrior in the clan? there's a ton of inconsistencies there so to fix a Lot of things in my canon, thrushpelt is simply not windflight's son lol

good! i think people tend to overestimate their friendship in BP because in full honesty they do not interact much lol but i really like the headcanon of rosetail having a big ol crush on the cool edgy Bluefur. i think she and thrushpelt bond over it and probably take each other on sympathy dates but they never really work out and just stay good friends

Eh that’s fine. Reedwhisker is basically a nobody in canon 🤷 he’s the riverclan deputy from oots-early asc. He and hawkfrost only have one canon interaction when reedpaw nearly drowns in Moonrise and Hawkfrost is there. It’s a bit of a crack ship so I definitely wouldn’t say that being a Hawkfrost fan means you need to know who reedwhisker is lol

i don't think tigerstar adored any of his children, but i think hawkfrost knew he was the second best-- like tiger wanted to use bramble/continue his thunderclan legacy through him and hawkfrost was his backup (and also the one who failed)

hawk and moth are quite tasty-- i wish as always they were portrayed with a bit more nuance, especially on hawkfrost's side in tnp, though i think mothwing's secret ssssort of helps it? i have a lot of issues with how hawkfrost is written just in general but that's a convo for another post
