“Ah, you wound me so, Yuri. What would it take to gain your favour, eh?”

“For starters, you could send me back to Assiah.”

❝Well, I’ll like to start by saying I’m a fan of you’re work,❞ Rin said as he walked into the room and sat down on the chair nearest to the girl who’s supposedly his mother. ❝So I guess you don’t remember jack shit huh?❞ Rin wasn’t known for being discreet and he wasn’t about to just because he’s talking to his mother. It’s not really her Rin reminded himself as he knew Mephisto made sure she couldn’t remember anything. 

For a moment, the girl doesn’t realize she’s the one being spoken to. Eyes glance around her to find the intended recipient, only to see no one else. She sighs, realizing he was talking to her, and during her lunch break at that. 

The one day she actually had food. She closes the lid to her lunch and she finally looks at him, stern eyes taking him in with a bit of wariness. 

“You have that look, the one that would sour milk, my little viper. Am I in your bad books again?”

Satan spots the gift in her hands, huff’s and crosses his arms like a sulking child. He is of course curious as to what might be in the box but won’t let Yuri know that

“I care not but mayhap Elealeth might like such a trinket, as you have already bought it..leave it here and I shall give it to her”

“Maybe I don’t want to--ah, I’m sure one of your sons would appreciate it.” She nods to herself, opening one eye to glance back at the demon.

“Let us go then” one thing Jezebel knew how to do, was to spend money.

“You don’t need to tell me twice.” A little too eagerly, she pulled the other female along and into the limo. Just because she was a prisoner to Gehenna, didn’t mean she wasn’t able to enjoy herself every now and again. Besides, she’d never had the opportunity to go on a huge shopping spree with a friend.

Under normal circumstances, a witty remark would have flown from her lips instantaneously. This time, there was a very noticeable delay. The previous look of terror on her face disappeared, replaced in it’s stead a look of relief. It was funny, how out of everyone in this twisted world, she seemed to feel safest in his company. Because for all of his reputation–he had never once hurt her.

Her labored breath finally began to slow as the adrenaline’s effect finally receded. She dropped to her knees of the floor. “..thank you–” Why she was thanking him of all people, she didn’t know. Somehow, it just seemed appropriate for saving her life.
