Already seeing the expression of suspicion across the young woman’s face, the young exorcist already knew he fucked up. He knew he couldn’t pass for a french man. Tsk.

“All right, you got me.”

Shiro pushes up his glasses and whips out a different ID. 

“I am first class senior exorcist Torako Suguro. I am here due to paranormal activity in this vicinity. I am from the Vatican and would appreciate your cooperation” 

He stuff his ID away before giving eye contact to the young woman. 

“So tell me now, do you believe in ghost stories?”

Jezebel froze, but her expression remained calm she simply stared at the strange man. He was an exorcist, and not just that, but a class senior exorcist. That could mean two things: someone tracked her demonic aura or Samael told them she was here. But why would he? 

“Pretending to be a police officer is a felony, mister... exorcist” she raised one eyebrow “I may be Catholic but I don’t think the Vatican has much power over French jurisdiction”  Emille’s knowledge was there for her to access, which was a relief, since the demoness knew almost nothing about human traditions.
