No Shame In My Bedroom
(Photo from article in Psychology Today)
I really donât want to write.
I really donât want to talk about myself, my sex life, and what I think about sex because taking time to actually type something up is such a chore. I mean it means I have to write something, put words together, hope to God that they come together and make some damn senses, and then maybe (MAYBE) I wonât get laughed at by someone.
But the thing is I want to say something about sex. I want to have my say about how tired I am of the religious trying to shame and degrade me for loving and enjoying sex. Iâm tired of ministers, rabbis, and Imans coming at humanity to tell us that the people we choose to be sexual with and the way we are sexual in the bedroom is somehow wrong. Yet, all these couples are forced by guilt and shame to either have sex in âthe biblical senseâ or it is wrong. Even if we are just sexual with ourselves till we climax in a wonderful bliss the religious sorts come in like some Monty Python skit ready to put us in some sort of torture chamber in hopes of forcing out any and all sexual thoughts out of our minds and hearts.
This year is the year Iâve said ENOUGH!
I think the thing that triggered it is the way the American Christian community gave a pass to Donald J. Trumpâs sex life. It didnât matter how many women he was with; it didnât matter how he had (allegedly) children outside of his marriage. It doesnât matter, we got the man we want in and so long as we make abortion illegal, contraceptives out of reach, and shame a generation for wanting to enjoy their sexuality and relationships in the way they want to then to hell with convention and conviction.
In the times we live in I am angry. Iâm angry at a church system who find it easy to shame someone like me to the altar seeking mercy, forgiveness, and grace time and time again for having a sexual thought. I was made to seek out counseling, go through some sort of fasting from any sexual thoughts, and redouble my efforts to make sure the only sex I am having is my one true love from heaven. But what happens if that one true one hasnât a clue to what makes her orgasm or know how to make her one true man satisfied sexually? To force good and earnest men and women in this prison of piety for the sake of sexual purity are both insane and mental.
And yet this jackass in chief is given a free pass!
Thatâs why this year no religious edict or rule will enter our bedroom again. I will have sex with whoever and however, I want to. I will not be shamed into feeling weak or deranged for being honest about my love for sex and being sexual with others. I feel it is my God given right to live honestly about my love for sex and not be put in the corner by anyone.
You know what? Right now sex is the best its been for me in a long while.
I have my primary love who I enjoy sex with immensely. I have two other women who I get to play with while their husbands play with my primary love. I enjoy the fun, the laughter, the tears, and the passion we share in the bedroom, living room, and (hell) even the garage. I think if I kept with that psychopathic thought the church and other religious institutions shove down our throat Iâd go crazy.
The thing is I like God and allâ at least the one I still ascribe toâ but I will not have anyone else in my bedroom shame me for showing a loving and honest expression of sex with the people I care and respect. To me, it is true freedom and I will not have it any other way.
Can you answer with all the tutorials you have post? I would love if you put them all <3

Everything about this is a masterpiece: the girl that says âwowâ and the girl that says âhiâ shyly and bill awkwardly lifting his hand to say hi to them Iâm cracking THE FUCK UP

Whatâs the difference between âopenâ and âpolyâ? I know a lot of people say that an âopen relationshipâ means having only casual/sexual relationships outside of a primary partnership, whereas âpolyamorousâ means having âmultiple loving relationships.â Personally, I donât love that dichotomy, for several reasons. First of all, many non-monogamous people have both casual connections and loving relationships; and as far as Iâm concerned, they both totally âcountâ as poly. (Also, who says casual connections canât be loving??) My other beef with drawing that dichotomy between âopenâ and âpolyâ is that if âopen relationshipâ implies âcasual only,â then that makes it more difficult for me to explain to people that Iâm not polyfidelitous. More on that in a minute.Â
So, these are the definitions I personally like for the two terms.Â
Open relationship:Â any relationship, between any number of people, where everyone has agreed that itâs okay to seek beyond-platonic relationships outside of the dyad/group. Polyamorous:Â a relationship orientation that describes openness to having multiple sexual/romantic/intimate partners.
The distinction is that âopenâ describes a relationship, whereas âpolyamorousâ describes a person. In my case, what I am is polyamorous. And at any given time, I am in one or more open relationships. However, some polyamorous people are not in open relationships, either because they have chosen to be monogamous, or because they are in a closed multi-partner relationship (e.g. a closed triad or closed V), in which case they might describe themselves as polyfidelitous.Â
Since Iâm not polyfidelitous and have no intention to ever be, I want a way to explain that succinctly when I say that Iâm polyamorous. Saying âIâm in an open relationship(s)â makes that easy. It doesnât mean âIâm only after sex,â it just means âIâm available.â
Another note: sometimes people use the term âpolyamorous relationship.â I donât use this term a lot because I feel like isnât super-useful in my life; I tend to operate from an autonomous-poly vantage point. I lead a pretty independent life, and although I usually have partners who get along with each other, most of the time I spend with partners is spent one-on-one. This might just be me, but I feel like âpolyamorous relationshipâ implies (and maybe is often used by?) a group of 3 or more intimately connected people, such as a triad or V that spends a ton of time together. I also suspect âpolyamorous relationshipâ is an especially useful term for people who are polyfidelitous, because it describes the fact that they have multiple partners without incorrectly signalling that itâs an open relationship.
Great day at the beach!!!
