The younger maternal half sister of Tommy Underwood. Beautiful, entitled, and practically Redwood Royalty being from one of the founding families. Issy is likely the absolute most mortified that Tommy would spurn a life of privilege to slum it with the filthy trailer trash gang he’s bailed on them to join. She just can't comprehend it. Though she would not cross the street to avoid him if she saw him.

 A day dreaming socialite. Issy is quite the party girl, when she does not have her nose in a book, or her sketch pad etching clothing designs. As that is what she wishes she could be. A fashion designer. She's into the finer things in life and loves the classics, such as Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, and Lauren Bacall. She has poise and competence, and is rarely fazed by the tedium of life and drama. She emanates grace and elegance. She is reticent, but calculating. Issy knows how to pick her battles and friends. Although her icy exterior may sometimes convey otherwise, she enjoys exploring new things and finding unconventional pleasures. She loves Chanel, old glamour, and dinner parties. The perfect friend. A loving daughter, who's always looking for more. How far is the Underwood overachiever willing to go? And will it ever be enough?

A boy's best friend is his mother... right? Dorothy and Ted have always been close - his name, Theodore, is essentially the male version of hers - and since she had him while she was still in high school, sometimes people thought she was just his much older sister rather than his mother. Her history is totally up to you, but one thing that's for certain is that she's had a number of boyfriends, most of them horrible in one way or another. The way I see it, she and Ted were always very close, but whenever there was a new man in her life Dorothy would redirect all her affection and attention to him in her desperation to keep him around. Although she was a victim of their abuse, she was also a perpetrator herself, towards her son - sometimes at a boyfriend's instigation but mostly of her own volition - from verbal and physical abuse to locking him in the basement and withholding meals. She would always be very apologetic after these instances, and often told Ted that he was the only person who cared about her - and indeed, despite her treatment of him, he always looked after her, especially when she was in one of her Moods, as he called them, after her latest boyfriend had broken things off.  She and Ted moved to Redwood after Ted attempted to murder one of her most abusive boyfriends, Frank. They moved to Redwood to start over, having bought the motel, but it wasn't long before the pattern started again... and Ted actually succeeded in his murder attempt. Killing his mother was an accident, though, he swears...she now haunts the motel.

The deputy mayor of Redwood. A closeted homosexual, more so due to the fact his colleagues, specifically his superior, the mayor, are distinctly homophobic, as opposed to him struggling with his sexuality. He knows who he is. But also knows he has to hide it, at least for now. But longs for the day when he no longer has to. Especially as he detests liars with a passion and feels like a hypocrite himself. He can spot and sniff out a dishonest person from a mile away, so don't think you can fool this guy. You can't. He's one of the sharpest people you could ever meet. He also has a strong distrust of out of towners. And with his family owning the country club, having a share in it himself gifted by his father, Patrick is well connected. And well liked. He also works as Bureau chief / editor at the Redwood Register as his regular employment.

Donna is an African-American woman with a strong character and ambitious spirit. She will do anything for science and to find out what makes serial killers want to kill. Donna Chambers has done doctoral work at Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania, both Ivy League institutions. In 1980, she discovered her father, David Chambers, is a serial killer. Donna caught him in the act of murder when she broke into his apartment, suspecting that he is cheating on her mother. Confronting him, he admitted his natural inclination to kill before plunging a knife into his neck, killing himself. This event motivates Donna to study serial killers as she yearns to understand them.

In 1984, Donna Chambers was doing research for a Psychology PhD with a focus on serial killers and what led to the noticeable increase in violence in the 70s. She spoke to Ted Bundy down in Florida and pried confessions to two unsolved murders from him. The feds, however, wanted to keep it on the down-low and that's why no-one was aware of it.

During her research, Donna talked to John Wayne Gacy, William Bonin, aka the Freeway Killer, Patrick Kearney, aka the Trash Bag Killer, Robert Hansen, aka the Butcher Baker and revealed that all of them were known for having "their lips sealed", until she managed to make them talk.

She arrived at Red Meadows Asylum to do the same with Benjamin Richter, aka Mr. Jingles, and discussed with him the rise of serial killers in recent years. She becomes so fascinated by him that she is about to set up his escape in order to study him in his natural habitat. After kidnapping Rita, Lucy’s would be mentor, Donna stole her identity and went to work as Camp Redwoodʼs on-site head nurse for the summer.Keeping up with the fake identity, she claimed she was an ER nurse at Redwood General the rest of year. - they really should have checked.

A hot shot lawyer and gay rights activist, working for a rival firm to Turner & Son(s), the legal firm owned by prestigious Redwood family, The Turners. There is every possibility the firm in question, and Lachlan himself, are situated in the next town over should that be his writer's preference. -So he is not directly in the firing line of the gossip mill of Redwood. He is someone on the camp’s payroll, just in case, to protect it from legal troubles, with all those tragedies and, the number of less than whiter than white staff Margaret Booth strategically procured. The need to have a good legal professional on the retainer is paramount. He has had past dealings with Magnolia Hawthorne, hence his hiring, having met her when he handled her divorce. The Turners were far too close to home for her to feel comfortable with delving into her personal affairs, so she sought representation elsewhere. He also handled the inheritance she gained, so he's quite fond of her as a client. Or more specifically, fond of her bank balance. Making her a client he intends to keep.

The younger step-sister of Johnny. They have a very complicated relationship due to Johnny’s issues with his father, and the fact that he, being the troubled ‘older brother’, constantly gets the blame and the repercussions for Cindy acting out. He also resents her as he blames her mother, for his own leaving. Little do either know though, that his mother’s leaving is far darker than any of them except his father know. Their parents (His father, her mother) married when Cindy was 11, and Johnny was 16. And she has witnessed first hand the physical and mental abuse Johnny has suffered from his father. But she has never suffered it herself. He’s never, and would never lay a hand on her. Cindy has even covered for Johnny at times, when he’s forgotten to pick her up, because he’s been out with friends, getting drunk, or hooking up. As she does care about him. Even if he is an asshole at times. She gets that he’s carrying a lot, and is just angry at life. She’s very smart and astute. But him constantly shutting her out, and shutting down her attempts at helping him, as he genuinely believes she doesn’t care about him anymore than their parents do, eventually drives a wedge between them. All the more so when he projects his pain onto her, but never physically. 

He does care about her too though, in his own way, he just doesn’t know how to, as it’s a new concept to him. Johnny, snubbing the upcoming wedding vow renewal of their parents, having none of it, Cindy runs away from home to track him down at Redwood, intending on dragging his ass back with her, in time for the ceremony in a few weeks. Little does she know the storm and danger she is letting herself in for. Or that their parents are actually the ones who got him sent there to begin with, wanting him out of the way. But ultimately it will draw them closer and fix their relationship.

A photojournalist with the local gazette Jamie, has a keen interest and huge fascination with the paranormal. So the lure of Camp Redwood is just too much to resist. Maybe he'll capture that perfect shot and catapult himself to the top of his game. Maybe he'll uncover the truth. Maybe he won't. But either way it's sure to be a wild ride. But will anyone believe him? His background with drug misuse is sure to cast doubt on his word. And people in town already mock him for his beliefs anyway. Branded the weirdo all throughout his high school years, he is certainly in good company with some at the camp..

His half sibling has also recently gone missing from the town, so this gives him added incentive for poking around.

A camp counselor and former Olympic Athlete, who despite his commitment, disqualification from the Olympics prior to his drugs and drinking habits has left him petty with anger issues. He claims the drugs were only ever to help him cope with the 'stress' of competing. Secretly bisexual (possibly even gay), Chet is a friend of Xavier's, having met at his aerobics class. There is a chance there could possibly be more to it than simply 'friends' though. Particularly on Chet's part. Xavier completely oblivious to the way Chet looks at, and pines after him. On the flip side, he has an instant clash Johnny and Brett, threatened by their athletic prowess. Homoerotic Sexual tension, much?  Poor Chet unfortunately, is going to meet a sticky end quite quickly at camp. -This shall of course be discussed and plotted with whoever takes this role. Though he, and the others will have no idea he's already dead for quite some time, until a later point, when someone else Kills him, and he gets back up...

The wife of the Mayor. She is the matriarch of one of the most influential (if not highly dysfunctional) families in Redwood.  Born in Kensington, England. And has kept the accent all these years. Sarah is beautiful, powerful, successful and sensual. She loves all of her children dearly, regardless of their life choices and whether she agrees with them or not. She worries endlessly about Daniel. And struggles between wanting to be a good mother, and fulfilling her duties as a loyal wife. As she too, does very much enjoy the family's social standing.  And is afraid to cross her dear husband, in case her own secret scandals are leaked out.

A camp counselor with class and sass, who resembles the beautiful Camila Mendes.   Rebecca was a party animal in California. She partied with many friends and even people who weren't friends. She didn't care who it was as long as it wasn't a cop, they would be in her circle. She, of course, was the light of the party due to her wealth. Daddy bought her everything as long as she got good grades, and that's what she did until she got caught and sent to rehab. After doing her time in rehab, she felt like she had nothing left and was dropped off at Camp Redwood. This is the last chance she was given by her father to do good by him for her deferred Yale application. She may well have a bit of history with the camp lifeguard, Johnny.
